At exactly 9:00 a.m. Nova went back into my room. She told me all that things that I needed to do, she even tour me around the Palace even if I already knew it.
“At exactly six sharp in the morning, the king will have his breakfast.” I nodded my head to acknowledge her words.
“And at 11:30, the king will have his lunch. And lastly, at 8:00 in the evening, he will have his dinner.” Just like the time he ate his meal before.

“Can I ask you something, Nova?” She stopped talking and look at me.
“Yeah sure, but if you will going to ask what happened to the king, I can’t answer you that. Lady Keriza prohibited us to tell so.” I shook my head. That’s not actually what I’m going to ask because I know the reason.
“No, not that. When I will start working?” I asked her. She was little caught off guard.
“Oh that’s new, most of the new comers asking about the king. But you asked about work, very professional. You will start tonight, you’ll be the one who served the king’s dinner. Just served, no talking allowed.” She answered. I see, I will see him tonight then.
“I understand.” She nod. “Alright then, let’s go and have a lunch together.”
How many hours has been passed, the sun is almost settings down. I still haven’t see Amanda and others, that’s good because seeing Amanda here is risky. She might recognize me.
I sat down on the edge of my bed while thinking about my plan. I only need to bring his memory back. It will be easier to defeat Keriza and her family if he can remember.
But how will I make him remember? What are the things I need to do? I will think about this later, I will just do what I have planned first.
Killing Keriza’s family. I will kill them one by one, I won’t show any mercy. A smirk formed slowly into my lips as I stand up and fix my clothes. Two days from now, her life will be a living hell.
Walking into the hallway, while holding the tray of food I will served for him. I know he can’t remember anything including me, there are possibility that he will act rude towards me. I need to get myself ready in that matter.
I knock on the door three times, when I didn’t receive any reply I slowly enter. The room is so dark, he really love dark so much isn’t he?
“Your Majesty?” I call for his attention while putting down the tray on the table inside his bed. I hear some noise on the balcony, so I went closer there. Then I saw him, silently standing while looking on the scenery in front of him.
He looks so peaceful, I let him slay that way for a few minutes until I decided to call him.
“Your majesty?” He turned around and our eyes met. He was stared at me but in just a few seconds.
“Who are you?” three words comes out in his lips. I show him my biggest smile and bow.
“Freya Ridings, your majesty. The new maid who will assist you.” He raise an eyebrow, “Who let you in? Is it Keriza?” I shook my head, “No, your majesty. The head maid,”
“So, it was her. The maids are under her control.” Even if he can remember her, I can hear annoyance in his voice.
“Yes, it is, your Majesty.” He stared at me before nodding.
“If you’re done, you can leave now.” As he said that, I le go back inside his room. I followed him and before leaving I plastered a smile and nod.
It’s good to see you again, my love. I didn’t expect him to be that kind. Nova mentioned to me that he’s having a hard time of controlling himself since the day he woke up.
He’s always grumpy and shouting to everyone. Is this a good start? Seems like. I was smiling while walking back to my room. As of the moment, I will make my profile low.
“Hey! Slop!” I heard someone yelled behind me so I quickly move sideward and look back. I sold two persons who’s running so fast. I saw a warrior chasing someone, what’s going on between the two of them?
“STOP! YOU THIEF!” A thief inside the palace? Oh, he’s audacity. I dropped the tray that I was holding on the floor causing the thief to stumble and fall. The warrior caught him quickly.
“I’m— I’m not a thief!” The man quickly defend himself. “Then why did you run? Why you’re holding Miss Keriza’s necklace?”
“Can you get your hands off me first. First of all, I’m not a thief. Secondly, I’m Miss Keriza’s Personal assistant, lastly I run because you chase me!” He quickly explain. Oh that’s what happened.
“How can I trust you?” The warrior said unconvinced, “do you think I will be here if I’m not telling the truth? This is the palace, no one can enter without connection.” He got a point. The warrior nodded his head, “Alright. I’ll let you go this time. If I saw you doing something suspiciously, I’ll cut your head,” He warned.
“Do if you can.” He replied and rolled his eyes. Frist person in this place I didn’t see weird. Who is this? Keriza’s personal assistant… He doesn’t look one.
When the warrior left, the person in front of me look at my direction, lie hold my hand and pulled me with him.
“Wail, who are you?” I asked him but he continues to pull me. We go inside a room, ‘I’n Caleb, Queen Louisa send me to help and make sure your safe.” Oh …
“Don’t get her wrong, everyone is just worried about you.” Aunt Louisa send him….

“I am. I owe my life the Queen Louisa, she help me when I was a little, saving me from death. To repay her kindness, I volunteer to come and help her only niece, that is you.” He explained. I see.
“Okay, this is what we should do. I’m just allowing you to talk to me when I’ll talk to you. We should stay away from each other here for them not to suspect us. And one more thing, are you really here as Keriza’s personal assistant?” He nodded.
“Yes.” I look at him intently.
“How can I be sure that you we’ll never betray me?” He smile “Well you can kill me now if you don’t trust me,” I shook my_ head. Alright then, “if you will betray me, I’ll be the one who will cut your head.”
“Noted that, princess.”
“Okay, you will be my sply. I will open a mind link between the two of us, if you have anything to say, just call my name in your mind. Harper,” Her nodded again.
“Got it. I have to go now then. Maybe, Keriza is looking for me.” I nodded as well. It was him who is the first one leave the room, a few minutes later I leave too.
I go back into my room and gel change. Since my work is done. I will do the rest of my plan. I wear a black pants and black jacket and black hoodie.
I’m pretty sure that the rest of her family is living inside the palace now. Maybe I should make a little surprise for her? Grinning widely, I leave and search for Keriza’s room.
A few minutes of searching, I manage to found her room. I use my invisibility ability for them not to sec me. I saw her peacefully sleeping on her queen size bed. If I’m rushing everything, she might death right now.
I’ve notice that there is a barrier around her bed protecting her to anyone who are attempting to touch her. I see, her mother did this for her. My mother told me about Keriza’s mother. She is a pure witch, she once live inside the witch kingdom before as the queen second in command.
She’s a powerful witch but she had a dark heart. All she want is power, authority, and a lot territories. She once planned to seize the witch kingdom but she failed and escaped. I here she found, Keriza’s father, the leader of werewolf council, the third highest person in werewolf hierarchy.
Therefore, Keriza is the daughter of the traitor. That makers— her what she is right now. I stared at her while slowly moving back. She’s lucky for tonight, She won’t be lucky anymore soon. I left her room and search for her mother’s room.
After a few hours I still haven’t found her, maybe she’s not staying here. I will know later. I’ve only seen her father who’s sleeping soundly on his bed next to his daughter’s room.
Everything is okay, this will be a successful mission. I go back into my room and sleep. I woke up in the morning because someone is knocking on my door.
“Freya, wake up. I have a news for you!” I get off the bed and open the door. I saw Nova with shock face. “The King wanted your presence, now.” I blink twice.
“Did you do something strange last night that triggered him?” She continued. I shook my head, Nope? Did he remember me already?
“No, I just gave him his dinner. He was calm yesterday’s evening.” I told her.
“I see, you should get ready now. We don’t want him to get mad, arc we?” I nodded my head and get inside. I walk towards the bathroom and take a bath. It’s still three in the morning, why would he wanted to see me this time?
Wait, this is good actually.
I knock on his door for three times before getting in. I saw him laying down on his bed while looking on the ceiling. I know that he know that here already.
“What I can do for you your majesty?” I asked him. I saw him let out a sigh and glance at me.
“Have a seat.” He said and tapped his bed. I blinked twice before sitting down on the bed.
“You seems familiar yet unfamiliar to me. Did we see each other before?’ I wanted to answer yes. but this is not the right time. I can’t force him to remember me because he was still in his weak state. Everything was void to him. if I force him to remember he might be not going to remember anymore.
“No. we just met yesterday s evening.” I lied. He stared at me, intensely.
“I see. I don’t remember anything. there’s a big hollow in my heart, something is missing. Since I saw you yesterday.” he paused. “I feel something. So, I concluded that, maybe that you can help me to remember.” is that the reason why he’s so kind to me the time?
“If that’s so your Majesty. I’m willing to help you remember. What do you wanted me to do then?” I asked him. He thinks for a seconds, and talk.
“Stay with me, be my personal maid.” This is great.
“How about Miss Keriza Your Majesty? She’ll be mad if she will see me with you.” she’s not actually a problem to me but I just wanted to hear his answer.
“I’ll deal with her. Don’t worry.” I nodded.
“Alright, you can go back into your room now. I’ll just call you when I needed too.” I nodded once again, this is better than nothing.
I stand up and bow my head. “Go back to sleep now your majesty.” Have a rest now. my love. We will be together soon.
Zachary Vance Spencer’s POV
I can’t remember everything, not even my name. Two weeks ago I woke up from coma, the first one I saw is a lady who is unfamiliar to me.
She introduces herself as Keriza, She told me that she was my girlfriend. She also told me that, I was actually a king, the king of werewolves.
Everything seems so blurred to me, I don’t know who and what to believe. I don’t know whom I’m going to trust. But I guess, it’s only myself who I can count into.
Three days ago. I met this person who seems familiar yet unfamiliar. I don’t know but when I saw her, I feel something inside of me. Maybe this person can help me to remember all the things I’ve forgotten.
I’m very confused, how will I rule the kingdom without my memories? What was I in the past? What kind of man I am? It’s really true that Keriza is my girlfriend? I don’t know but I’m doubting her. there’s something off about her that I can’t point out.
I look for Frey a who’s arranging my bed right now. This feels like dejavu. like this moment were done before. Everything she was doing, preparing my food, fixing my clothes, preparing my bathtub, talking to me sweetly sometimes sassy, everything’s familiar.
Who really she is? Is she part of my life before?
