Sharing Beatrice A Luna To Her Stepbrothers by Alexis Dee Book 2
Chapter 515 Stole All My Friends And Mates
I stood there, frozen in place, as Akin divulged all the details about the hickeys and my secret meetings with
Zane while lying to everyone. I felt like a guilty and obedient student, unable to speak the truth. My lips remained sealed, and all I could do was focus on them, unable to defend myself.
“And you had the nerve to accuse me of giving you that hickey,” Helel shook his head, casting a judgmental glare my way.
Helel, appearing shocked yet angry, rushed to support Akin as he trembled.

“Are you alright?” Helel asked, wrapping his arm around Akin’s shoulder.
Meanwhile, I wasn’t even allowed to approach them.
“Let’s go inside,” Helel muttered, guiding Akin into the mansion. I followed them, tears streaming down my face, feeling a sense of despair and devastation.
“I don’t know how it happened,” I repeated upon entering the foyer, causing them to stop and turn their attention towards me.
“You don’t know how what happened? Everything that happened was your fault. It wasn’t a one-time thing; you kept going back to him and continued lying to all of us,” Helel yelled, freeing Akin, who slumped into a chair with his face buried in his hands.
I had never seen him so broken before.
Reign and Colt rushed out of the room they were in, where they had been discussing matters with Bernard, and stared at us in shock.
“Akin, you’re back already? What about Zane?” Reign asked, while Colt looked at me with concern in his eyes. “Why are you crying?” Colt whispered, hurriedly making his way towards me. “I swear I didn’t want to do all that,” I immediately insisted to Colt, asserting that I didn’t intend to cheat on Akin. However, I still had no clue why I couldn’t express myself or feel the intensity of the moment.
“What is going on?” Colt turned to the brothers, seeking answers.
“I don’t need to babysit Zane anymore. He has Beatrice to take care of him,” Akin said, causing Reign and Colt to gasp, slowly beginning to comprehend the situation.
“Why would you say something like that?” Colt raised his voice, angry at them for putting me on trial or using such accusatory tones.
“Why don’t you ask your princess why she has been sleeping with Zane, Colt?” Helel shrugged, shaking his head once again. His eyes kept changing colors, as if he were on the verge of unleashing his inner beast.
“What are they talking about, Beatrice? Why are you standing here silently and not slapping them for accusing you of such bulls*hit?” Colt yelled at me for remaining silent. And yet, even after his outburst, I said nothing.
“Why would she bother defending herself when there’s video proof of her infidelity?” Akin scoffed, refusing to even meet my gaze.
Reign covered her mouth in shock, clearly taken aback by the devastating revelation.
“Tell them the good news,” Akin added, taking it one step further. A shiver ran down my spine. Everyone’s eyes were fixed on Akin before turning back to me.
“There’s something else?” Reign whispered in shock.
“Our princess is pregnant with Zane’s baby,” Akin declared, standing up from the chair and throwing vases to the floor, causing a ruckus.
“I loved her, and she was planning a whole family with the devil behind my back. Why were you even taking part in the preparations when you already knew you were pregnant with his child?” Akin yelled, and I felt the judging gazes of those around me. Colt was in shock, but he also seemed to be in denial. It appeared that he didn’t believe a word they were saying. “This has to be a misunderstanding. There’s no way Beatrice would do something like that,” Colt disagreed with the accusations.
“As for you, don’t stress out. We will find the truth,” Colt gently rubbed my arm, trying to calm me down. My silence must have been unnerving, but my guilt kept it subdued. They probably thought I was silent because I had been caught in a lie.
“Tell me, why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant, huh?” Akin took a heavy step towards me, hunching over to meet my eyes.
“I forgot to tell you,” I uttered under my breath.
“Forgot? You forgot you were pregnant. Who do you think we are, idiots?” Helel yelled from afar, clearly not believing the stories I was telling them.
I couldn’t even believe myself, and for some inexplicable reason, I couldn’t tell them the whole truth.
“Beatrice! What is going on? Is it really true?” Colt finally realized that I was hiding something. He made me look at him, and when I nodded, he gasped and pulled away.
“How could you do this?” he asked, tears welling up in his eyes.
“We loved you so much. If you had any doubts, you could have talked to us. We would have reminded you of all the terrible things Zane had done. Why would you choose him over Akin?” Colt seemed genuinely hurt, while Akin scoffed at the mention of Zane’s name.
“Well, now that the truth is out, I feel like an idiot for signing that treaty. Zane and Beatrice deliberately included that clause, allowing him to stay if someone is pregnant with his child,” Akin misunderstood everything, and yet I remained silent, unable to correct him. “What does that mean? Does that mean he’s going to come here and live with us?” Reign was both surprised and terrified at the thought of facing Zane. And so was I.
I despised Zane with every fibre of my being, but I didn’t say a word as Akin nodded and Helel shrugged.
“It’s not like she left us with a choice,” Helel muttered, glaring at me.
“Wow! You ruined everything because you couldn’t choose one guy, or maybe because you chose to align yourself with the dark side,” Helel finally seemed satisfied with his explanation for why I had slept with Zane.
However, inside, I was dying, knowing that Zane would now come and stay with me.
