Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 29 Hiding Behind His S*exy Back.
“Let her go,” Wolvin approached him as Caspian released his grip on me and turned to face him.
“I am not some Gale whom you can frighten off with your scary, crazy wolf. And why would you hurt me for her? Who is she to you, huh?” Caspian started questioning him, and I stepped between them to face Caspian myself.
“Who am I to you? Why are you acting like a jilted mate? It’s not like we ever promised the world to each other,” I yelled in desperation, watching him scoff at my response.
“I don’t give a damn, princess. You can sleep with anyone you want, but I do care when it comes to the money promised by your father. So, if you’re going to choose between us, it will be a huge mess. You’ll have to face all of us,” he made it clear that his anger was directed solely at the possibility that if I picked Wolvin, he might receive more than what they had been offered.

“Then leave me alone! Why do you have to act differently every time we encounter each other? Either want me or hate me!” I yelled, frustration overwhelming me.
“Huh! You think I’ll fall in love with you?” Caspian scoffed, once again contradicting his reaction to catching me k*issing Wolvin.
“Then f*uck off!” I screamed.
He stood there, glaring at me with a look that could devour me alive.
“I’ve already told you–” He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, and that’s when I made up my mind to simply walk away. Why was I even engaging in a conversation with him?
“I’m going back inside,” I muttered as I locked eyes with Caspian.
“What’s going on? What did she do this time?” Emre asked in a demeaning tone. They were such bullies.
I didn’t stick around to say more and hurriedly walked past them. Being in the dark woods with such angry and powerful mates didn’t sit well with me. They were truly intimidating at times. I assumed Caspian was explaining the situation to Emre and Bellamy because they chased after me, and Emre grunted in response to something being said to him.
“You were getting i*ntimate with him?” Emre yelled once we entered the house. When I didn’t respond, he quickly grabbed my arm so tightly that a yelp escaped my l*ips.
“Ah!” I cried out, trying to push him away.
“Get away from me!” I yelled at Emre, who was forcefully holding onto my arm.
“Wait, answer him,” Caspian interrupted, not allowing me to walk away either. The two of them stood on either side of me, blocking my path.
“What’s your problem? What do you want to know?” I yelled, watching them both stare at me.
“Did you—Were you physically i*ntimate with him?” Emre yelled, causing me to shudder slightly before composing myself.
Although it was just a k*iss, it seemed like a significant issue to them because I had initiated it.
“I was, okay? So what? He’s my husband,” I muttered angrily at Emre.
“Huh? He’s not your mate. So why the hell are you willing to open your l*egs for him but not for us?” Caspian yelled those words, and all I could think about was how much I wanted to hit him.
“You’re disgusting,” I huffed, pushing him out of my way and storming into the room.
“We’re disgusting? Yeah, right! So, what’s going on? Are you falling for him?” Emre’s escalation took me by surprise, leaving me even more bewildered.
“You want money. You’ll get it for protecting and keeping me safe. But don’t meddle in my personal affairs,” I hissed, observing their grunts and witnessing their nostrils flare, their eyes filled with intense rage.
“Why are you two wasting your time on her? She doesn’t mean anything to us. We can find better partners than her,” Bellamy, wearing a weird nasty smile, entered the room to scold the boys but insult me in veiled words.
“As if you’re any better,” I commented with an eye roll. As I tried to walk past him, he grabbed my arm and unexpectedly shoved me against the wall.
“Ouch!” I squirmed in pain, disbelief written on my face.
“Don’t play games with us,” I matched his tone now, causing him to lose control despite his attempt to sound calm in front of Emre and Caspian.
“I told you, she’s getting too comfortable being rude to us. Who is she? A wolf-less creature and our slave. So shouldn’t we f*uck her whenever we want and then discard her?” the prideful Emre spoke, oblivious to how foolish and horrible he sounded.
“I’m not your slave,” I hissed, emphasizing my point and pointing my f*inger in his face. Emre had deep- seated ego issues that he needed to address instead of coming at me so aggressively.
“Your father sold you to us, so it’s not wise to argue back and forth with us. The way you opened your l*egs like a w*hore for someone who isn’t your mat–” His demeaning words pierced my ears, rendering me incapable of hearing anything else he had to say.
Without thinking, I lunged at him with all my force, raising my h*and and delivering a resounding slap. The sound of the impact deafened me. My palm turned red, instantly throbbing as if I had struck it against a brick wall.
“I’M GOING TO F*UCK THE BRAINS OUT OF YOU,” Emre yelled and raised his h*and, but it never made contact with me. I was so frightened by his sudden outburst that I instinctively pushed my body back, pressing myself against the wall. I hadn’t expected him to become so uncontrollable.
“Don’t you dare,” Wolvin intervened, positioning himself between us, his h*and firmly holding Emre’s and his body shielding me.
“Let go of me! If she can hit me, I can hit her too,” Emre shouted, attempting to free himself from Wolvin’s grip.
“That’s not fair, Wolvin. You’re blindly taking her side when she disrespected us. Just because she gave you a k*iss? Come to my pack, and I’ll introduce you to better women,” Bellamy argued, opposing Wolvin’s defense of me.
“It’s not about seeking validation from her. She was angry and made a mistake. That doesn’t mean you have to do the same,” Wolvin finally released Emre but ensured that he kept me protected behind his imposing figure.
I could sense Caspian and Bellamy growing increasingly disturbed by how Wolvin shielded me, while I clung to his shirt with my small h*ands. The peculiar eye contact they shared before
Caspian stepped forward left me stunned. They were up to something. “Congratulations, Wolvin. Just a day ago, you were talking about being the sole accepted husband, aiming to secure the entire throne for yourself. And now, you’ve accomplished it,” Caspian’s smirk accompanied his words, resonating throughout the silence that enveloped us.
Wolvin’s body tensed, but he didn’t refute or deny Caspian’s statement.
“Yeah, that’s right. The man protecting you wanted you all to himself because the title of the alpha king is incredibly intimidating, isn’t it?” Bellamy murmured, shrugging as he exposed Wolvin, his pout revealing a hint of satisfaction.
