Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee

Chapter 48 The H*orny Creatures (Genevieve Swan)

“Caspian!” I called out his name, almost ready to rush toward him and give him a hug. However, I stopped myself and looked down.

“Are you alright?” Wolvin inquired before our attention shifted to the man lying on the ground.

Caspian stood beside him, his shirt open, revealing his perfectly tanned abs. I had never noticed how attractive he was before. Every time he took a deep breath, his abs moved in a mesmerizing way. I swallowed h*ard, readjusting my focus to understand the situation and identify the man on the ground.

“He thought he could take on an alpha,” Caspian rolled his eyes, expressing his exhaustion towards the man.

I remained uncertain about what I was witnessing. The man on the ground wasn’t a werewolf. I noticed his long ears and his peculiar attire as if he had traveled from the past. The long shirt he wore had a belt with worn-out notebooks and pens sticking out.

“Who is he?” I asked, noticing everyone’s gaze fixed on me.

“You don’t know about them?” Emre’s tone didn’t sound like a genuine question; it felt more like a taunt aimed at my lack of knowledge.

“No! That’s why I asked,” I replied with a hint of defensiveness.

“He’s an elf,” Wolvin spoke, intensifying his eye contact with the creature.

“I was just… hiding here in the bushes when this crazy werewolf came and peed on me,” the man started speaking in a soft voice, leaving me utterly shocked, unable to do anything but stare at him in disbelief.

He was undeniably attractive, with captivating green eyes and dark green hair. His slim physique caught my attention, but it was his h*ands that held my gaze. He still held an open notebook, as if actively writing something.

“What were you doing here?” Wolvin grunted, taking the lead in questioning him.

“I already told you. I was just hiding,” the man replied, his shirt soaked, presumably from Caspian’s blessed pee, as he may call it.

“You were here to gather information,” Caspian argued, deepening my confusion as I looked at them all. They seemed to be well-acquainted with Elves, actively interrogating him and surrounding him to prevent his escape.

“Princess Genevieve, why don’t you tell your mates to let me go? I didn’t come here for a golden shower or to fight with such powerful creatures. I was simply minding my own business,” he stood up from his spot, but the moment Bellamy narrowed his eyes, the man sat back down.

“Guys! I think he’s telling the truth,” I voiced my support for him, causing my mates to stand with their h*ands on their waists, their expressions stern.

“Do you even know about Elves?” Bellamy asked, giving me a judgmental stare. I frowned.

“They are informants, often referred to as gossipers. They love collecting information and then selling it at a high price, essentially buying themselves more time to live,” Emre explained, though his words seemed to fly over my h*ead.

I stood there in the midst of my mates, completely clueless about what they were talking about.

“They buy lives?” I gasped, shocked by the revelation.

“They’re not werewolves, so how do you think they live for so long?” Caspian asked, rolling his eyes.

“So him being here can only mean one thing,” Bellamy continued speaking, and a realization struck me. The way he said my name made me question if my mates were right about the Elf.

“He was here to gather information on us, including our i*ntimate activities. It also makes me wonder, who sent him here,” Bellamy continued, and my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. The woods truly were frightening.

“So, what are we going to do with him? Should we call my warriors to arrest him?” I wanted to contribute and asked in a soft murmur.

My mates looked at me and burst into laughter, causing me to stomp my foot and grumble.

“They’re laughing at her,” I noted, turning my attention to the man who was diligently recording the current events in his diary until he noticed our gaze upon him.

“Um, I was getting bored,” he mumbled, biting his t*ongue when it became evident that he was indeed here to gather information about us.

“No need to call the warriors. He’s coming with us,” Emre declared, grabbing the Elf by the back of his n*eck and forcing him to his feet. The Elf winced and squirmed.

“I’m actually very ticklish there—never mind,” the Elf stopped his complaints when Emre began to drag him out of the woods.

I followed my mates while the Elf, Finch, attempted to engage in small talk. His voice was high-pitched yet oddly soothing.

“By the way, I’m Finch,” he said, turning to me and extending his h*and for a h*andshake. However, Bellamy swiftly slapped his h*and away.

“Don’t talk to her, and don’t you dare look at her,” Bellamy commanded, pulling me away aggressively and positioning himself between me and Finch. I couldn’t help but feel a slight tickle of amusement at Bellamy’s protectiveness. It wasn’t often that they showed such emotions toward me, but lately, Bellamy seemed to display more aggression. Perhaps I was just reading into things too much.

“By the way, where are we going?” Finch commented again, his confusion apparent. I couldn’t understand how my mates were able to ignore how cute he was. The thought of befriending him crossed my mind, and without filtering my thoughts, I decided to share the idea with none other than Bellamy.

“Hey, we could befriend him and gather information about others,” the words slipped out of my m*outh, and Bellamy halted near the car, turning to face me. Emre had already left with Finch, while Caspian was guiding Wolvin in changing the tires.

“Are you crazy? Do you know anything about those creatures? They’re nothing but gossipers, but they’re highly—h*orny. Show them a little skin, and they go crazy,” Bellamy stared at me, his eyes piercing mine, leaving me shocked.
