Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 49 If You Are a Sc*um, I Am Your Mum!
(Genevieve Swan)
“So, they’re always h*orny?” I asked as I settled into the car after the tires had been changed.
“Why are you asking? It’s not like we’re allowing you anywhere near him,”
Bellamy grunted, clearly fed up with my questions. I frowned and readjusted myself in the backseat.

“What do you mean by ‘not letting me’? I don’t need your permission to do anything,” I hissed loudly, ensuring he could hear me over the strong wind blowing on his face from the open window.
“Let me know when she stops talking,” Bellamy remarked to Caspian, making me groan as I realized he had only left the window open so he wouldn’t have to listen to me.
The drive was filled with awkward silence as I peered out the window, contemplating how clueless I was about my own pack and the creatures that roamed around us. Due to my father’s overprotectiveness, he never allowed me out or disclosed much about our pack’s affairs. It was frustrating to have to discover everything on my own.
Upon arriving home, we found Emre standing on the front porch in the darkness, holding a chain in his h*and. “I’ve tied him up in your cabin,” Emre approached Wolvin and informed him, leaving me shaking my h*ead, trying to grasp what he had just said.
“You have a cabin?” I asked, bewildered. Caspian and Bellamy exchanged excited glances, eager to see how Wolvin would respond to my question.
“Seems like someone’s been keeping secrets,” Caspian commented under his breath, his delight evident. “I’ve been building something just for my belongings,” Wolvin murmured. It was the way he avoided eye contact with me while talking about the cabin that made me feel like there was more to it.
“And nobody bothered to tell me?” I remarked, looking at all of my mates. “We’re not your informants,” Bellamy scoffed, rolling his eyes and swiftly walking past me. The others silently followed suit, leaving me feeling foolish for expecting an answer. “It was just for my hunting,” Wolvin uttered before lowering his h*ead and h*eading inside the house. By the time I caught up with them, they had settled comfortably on the couches, and Bellamy was rummaging for food.
“Why do you think he was chasing after us? What information did he want from us?” Caspian asked as he removed his shirt and began unbuckling his belt.
He showed no shame, seemingly unaware that I was standing right beside him. They all started undressing as if I didn’t even exist.
“Maybe–” Emre began to speak, but his sentence was cut off when Bellamy stormed out of the kitchen, shooting me an angry glare.
“What?” I yelled back, already irritated, and his gaze only intensified my annoyance.
“You didn’t cook anything?” His audacity caused me to close my eyes and take a deep breath. I wished I could open my eyes and find that this conversation was a figment of my imagination, but he was still standing there, waiting for my response.
“I went out with you guys, didn’t I? Besides, if you can all build cabins, I’m sure you can cook for yourselves,” I muttered, folding my arms across my chest.
“She’s such a br–” Caspian’s words were left hanging in the air when I interrupted him with a sassy remark.
“I am a b*rat. So what? What can you even do about it?” I was tired of trying to defend myself, and another thought crossed my mind.
“Wait! Did you guys know about my father’s marriage to Monique?” My question caused them to break their gaze and look around as if they hadn’t even heard me.
I remembered them always referring to her as his side chick. They must have known.
“Did you?” I yelled, stomping my foot as I realized I was right. They knew about it.
“And all this time, you all acted like you had no idea. Is there ever a time you’re honest with me?” I sighed, feeling a burning sensation in my eyes, hinting at tears.
“You’re just overreacting,” Caspian hissed.
“Are you on your period or something?” Emre folded his arms over his chest, causing me to take a deep breath to calm myself.
“I want to know right now if we are on the same page,” I demanded, observing them snicker and not taking me seriously once again.
“You didn’t get us access to the royal lockers. So, to tell you, are we really on the same page?” Bellamy adjusted his posture and leaned against the wall, his eyes scrutinizing me.
“First, tell me why you want access, and then I’ll consider letting you in,” I responded without hesitation. But just like always, they chose to remain silent before Emre commented.
“I’m not sure how much we can align with you, Princess. In the end, you’re a royal, and we don’t trust them,” Caspian spoke as if he wasn’t a part of the royal circle himself. I nodded in understanding, then simply left them there, walking into the bedroom and locking the door behind me.
“Hey! I have my stuff in there,” Caspian called out after me, but I chose to ignore him.
I was incredibly upset with how insensitive they were. They never took my feelings seriously, and I always ended up mistaking their protectiveness for something more than just an obligation they had signed up for.
“They never share anything with me,” I whispered, sliding down against the door and covering my face with my h*ands. It was disheartening to live with mates who were not honest with me.
I remained in that spot, crying, until I remembered Finch.
“The gossiper,” I muttered, recalling all the notebooks he possessed.
“He must know something about me. Maybe someone has heard him talk about me or my mates,” I swallowed h*ard and stood up.
I had made up my mind. I would still stick around my mates and make them believe we were a team, but from now on, I would act independently. I opened the door and found them looking at me in confusion, probably wondering what I was up to now.
“I’ll go to Finch with you guys,” I announced as I watched Wolvin and Emre prepare to pay him a visit.
I could sense that the other two were staying behind only to keep an eye on me and protect me.
