Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee

Chapter 83 The Dishonest Mate (Genevieve Swan)

“Alright! So, go ahead and explain to me what type of match you’re talking about.” I was now fully engaged, eager to understand the context behind their remarks.

“So, it’s like a competition to win your attention. We’d all be on one bed, you in the middle, and whoever manages to be the first, be the first,” Emre clarified, but I was still puzzled.

“It means we will force our way through the others,” Bellamy added, his hands on his waist as he made a determined sound, “but, of course, we need your consent for this.”

I was surprised. So, I will be n*aked and they will fight each other to come closer to me and f*uck me?

“How will you manage to stay in the right mood?” I was taken aback and couldn’t help but ask that question. “Believe me, nothing has the power to alter their moods when it concerns you,” it wasn’t any of them who said that. Wolvin had overheard the entire conversation and had chosen to chime in.

They all shifted their gaze to him, then turned back to me.

“So, tell us, are you prepared?” Emre inquired. I observed each of them in turn, feeling quite scrutinized and vulnerable.

“Alright,” I responded with a shaky voice. I’m not sure why, but I had a feeling this could lead to a disaster. “Why is being the first one so significant to all of you?” Wolvin didn’t seem to approve of the idea that they were arguing over this with me, and their attention was on who would go first.

“It’s not your concern, considering you’re not even involved,” Bellamy retorted, showing no concern for how blunt and impolite he sounded while dismissing Wolvin.

I bet he didn’t like Wolvin bringing attention to the fact that they were so hell bent on stealing my virginity that they have made it into a competition instead of turning to make my first time memorable.

“No, it’s settled. I’d like to return to my room and get some rest,” Caspian chimed in while glancing at his phone. I couldn’t help but notice that his expression changed drastically after he checked it.

“We were planning to go for a run together,” Emre lightly tapped his chest in a playful manner, but Caspian barely returned a smile.

“Maybe not tonight. Perhaps tomorrow,” the absence of playfulness in Caspian’s voice grabbed everyone’s focus, prompting us to give him space as he headed to his room, leaving us on the road.

“I’ll go and get some rest,” Emre shrugged, realizing there was nothing he could do since Bellamy had made it clear that I belong to his pack.

“I’ll explore the woods,” Wolvin spoke with his deep, husky voice. Before leaving, he gave me a nod that left me puzzled about its meaning.

“Let’s head back to our room then,” Bellamy managed a smile for me, but it seemed like he was still somewhat upset that I didn’t choose him immediately.

We walked back to the mansion in silence while he remained engrossed in his phone. Honestly, even though I only had a few people texting me, I was missing my phone.

“When will I be getting my phone back?” I inquired of Bellamy, who did a double take as if to confirm that he had indeed heard me talking about my phone.

“Wait! You don’t have your phone?” he frowned once we entered the room and he was facing me.

“No! You guys took it, remember?” I reminded him, gazing at him with a mix of confusion and surprise.

“But we were supposed to return it to you after the first dinner we had with your father—wait! You seriously don’t have your phone?” Bellamy’s expression now turned even more alarmed.

“Alright, don’t give me that expression. What’s happening?” A sense of fear about what might be going on started to creep over me, manifesting as goosebumps on my skin.

“F*ucking a*sshole Caspian!” He let out a frustrated sigh and slapped his forehead. “I should have realized it was him.”

The way he tossed his phone onto the bed and paced around with evident agitation while venting his frustration at Caspian, it became clear that something was amiss.

“Has he been using my phone all this time?” I walked up to him and gently grasped his arm, trying to turn his attention toward me.

“You didn’t want to choose me, did you? Well, congratulations, because now at least you’ll learn that one of us definitely didn’t deserve to be your first,” he grumbled silently through his eyes, releasing his arm from my grasp, leaving me utterly perplexed.

What could Caspian have possibly done?

“Anyway, I need to go tend to Ariel,” he casually declared, exploiting the advantage the pact gave him – the permission to spend time with her. It was the first time I regretted agreeing to that pact.

I wished for him to remain here and clarify the meaning behind everything he had mentioned regarding my inquiry about my phone.

However, he didn’t linger for an extended period. Before long, he had exited the room, leaving me by myself for the entire night.

“No way! Caspian couldn’t have used my phone,” I muttered, back and forth across the room, growing more furious with each passing minute.

I had personal conversations with Monique and my friend. How could he —Oh Lord! There’s so much more on my phone than just those chats.

Panic began to set in, and there was only one way to address this chaotic situation.

“I need to talk to Caspian,” I muttered quietly to myself, resolute in my intention to find him in his room and have a conversation.

I exited the bedroom and hurriedly navigated to his room. After a few minutes of frustrated knocking, I succumbed to my intrusive thoughts and turned the doorknob.

“Caspian! We need to have a conversation,” I murmured, positioned in the doorway, surveying the vacant bedroom. An open window allowed the chilly wind to seep in. It came as no surprise that he had slipped away, deceiving us by claiming exhaustion and a desire for rest.

I started to ponder what he might be up to.
