Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 85 He Has A Girl Too (Genevieve Swan)
He deepened the k*iss by trying to shove his t*ongue in my mouth, but I didn’t feel h*orny for anything, or none at the moment. He just confessed to having something that might upset me, and here he expected I would make out with him.
With my hands on his chest, I pushed him away from me, not letting his t*ongue slide into my mouth. As I opened my eyes and glared at him, I found him in shock, as if he didn’t expect me to get out of his seduction. “Why would I be upset?” I demanded to know, my posture more assertive this time, my eyes unflinchingly meeting his.
“You’ve heard of her,” he said, running his hand through his hair while speaking under his breath.
“Who is she? Just tell me,” I snapped, worn out by all the secrecy. He finally took a deep breath, seemingly preparing himself to reveal her identity. I was all ears, sensing that he was about to disclose the truth.

“Abigail,” he whispered her name, leaving the rest for me to discern. I remained silent, a sense of familiarity washing over me at the sound of her name.
Before too long, I recollected where I had heard her name.
“Oh!” a gasp slipped from my l*ips, and he appeared apprehensive. The memory was now vivid. It was glaringly obvious, particularly in the way he had pronounced her name when I was giving him a blowjob a few months ago.
He had been lying to me. When he had approached me the other day, he claimed it was a character from a book he had read. But clearly, he had been deceiving me.
“Wow!” I pouted, nodding as I acknowledged, “You’re quite the skilled liar,” I muttered, avoiding his gaze. I vividly remembered how wounded I had felt when he had uttered the wrong name. However, my distress had eased when he concocted an outrageous tale of having a crush on a fictional character. My naivety had led me to believe his far-fetched explanation.
“Listen, we didn’t have anything going on back then, so I could lie with ease,” he shrugged, daring to even flash me a broken smile. I couldn’t fathom how he believed this feeble excuse could hold any weight.
“Emre! You said her name when you were with me. It’s just disheartening that it took you this long to reveal the truth. And I’m sorry to say, but I believe you would have continued to lie if I hadn’t caught you-” I paused briefly, inhaling deeply to quell my agitated nerves.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, attempting to reach for my hand. However, I shook my head at him and stepped back.
While it might not be a monumental issue, the sequence of events leading up to this revelation left me disturbed. Initially, I realized that I was entirely in the dark about Caspian’s actions, and now I’ve uncovered that even Emre had been keeping things hidden from me. “I’ll go for now,” I said, and although he shook his head, he didn’t follow as I left. The instant I stepped out the door, I heard him call her once more.
“She heard your voice, Abigail,” he sounded utterly drained, conveying all the details of our argument to her. Given that trying to locate Caspian in Emre’s room proved futile, I retraced my steps back to Caspian’s vacant room and settled onto the couch.
I made up my mind to remain here and apprehend Caspian upon his return.
I had been incredibly oblivious all this time. It was as if everything was laid out right in front of me, yet I had chosen to remain ignorant. These mates of mine had entered my life for obvious reasons. Despite their claim that they needed something from my father, I remained largely ignorant about them, their packs, and their families.
Bellamy was the sole individual who had introduced me to his pack. Lost in these ruminations, I momentarily dozed off on Caspian’s couch. I was startled awake by some noises outside the window. Rubbing my eyes, I straightened my posture, realizing I had been asleep for four hours.
It seemed that Caspian was returning.
Sitting in the darkness, I observed a figure emerge at the window. It was Caspian. He entered and closed the window almost soundlessly, releasing a heavy sigh.
“I’m relieved you didn’t get caught,” I remarked, causing his entire body to jolt at the sound of my voice. He faced me, narrowing his eyes in the dim light. He moved toward the switchboard, fl*icking on the lights.
“Genevieve!” He uttered my name, accompanied by a gulp.
“Do I need to verbalize it?” I inquired, rising from the couch to confront him. “Where were you the entire night, Caspian?” I asked, even though I was somewhat certain of the answer. “I went out for a run,” he responded almost immediately, offering a casual shrug. Yet, his action of turning his back to me and feigning preoccupation with removing his shirt clearly conveyed the body language of a guilty person.
“Why are you here? Don’t tell me Bellamy kicked you out of the bedroom last night,” he quipped, diverting his gaze from me, attempting to lighten the atmosphere.
“It’s not that, is it?” he added, pivoting to meet my gaze when he noticed my continued silence and likely my observation. After discarding his jacket on the bed, he grinned at me.
“Or perhaps you were missing me?” he queried, leaning in for a k*iss. However, I averted my face to the other side, declining his advance.
“Oh, really? What was that about?” he inquired, his audacity evident.
“You told Emre you were too irritated to go for a run,” I replied, crossing my arms over my chest and maintaining my unwavering gaze. The manner in which he nodded, conceding the point, suggested he wasn’t going to escape this situation without revealing the truth.
“Fine. I’ll confess about my affair,” he mumbled, causing a shiver to ripple across my body.
