Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 88 Wolvin! Hold Me Tight (Genevieve Swan)
“You pretended to be me?” I yelled at Caspian, unwilling to let go of the topic. He had the audacity to do that while trying to show affection for me simultaneously. I wondered what else he had done on my phone.
“Huh! He even went through your gallery,” Bellamy added, causing my jaw to drop in disbelief.
“What?” I stared at Caspian, who in turn looked at Bellamy in astonishment. I wondered if he was upset that Bellamy had exposed him.
“Yes! He sent your pictures to my phone-,” that was all I needed to hear in that moment. Without any hesitation or second thoughts, I lunged at Caspian and slapped him as h*ard as I could. The room fell into a stunned silence.

Even Bellamy, who had been attempting to intervene, seemed to have been rendered speechless.
Caspian slowly turned his face towards me and locked eyes with me. It was as if he was deliberating whether or not to react to my actions.
“How dare you!” I continued to express my disappointment over his actions, “why would you betray my trust like that?” I yelled. Now that I knew he was supposed to return my phone to me, and Bellamy and the others believed he had already done so, I could piece together the timeline of events.
He had used my phone after the dinner with my parents and even afterward, when he claimed to be deeply concerned about me. He had used my phone and invaded my privacy?
“It was just a joke,” he yelled back at me.
“Huh! Using my phone and my pictures to deceive someone is a joke to you? That’s always been your attitude, Caspian. You’ve never cared about anyone’s privacy. All you care about is your damn fun and amusement,” I complained, raising my voice and gently pushing him away with my hands on his chest.
I wanted to keep berating him until he fully grasped how wrong his actions were, but resorting to violence wouldn’t achieve anything positive.
“Gen! I didn’t intend any malice by it. And this jerk knows that,” Caspian argued, though it didn’t improve the situation.
“I messaged him pretending to be you and sent a picture from your library, a regular selfie to prove it was me. It was just a joke. It didn’t even go that far,” he explained, but the explanation didn’t really make things better.
“Ask him, right after two minutes, I told this jerk that I am Caspian,” he insisted, while I shook my head and refused to listen.
“Fine, then why don’t you tell her why I even used her phone?” Caspian then turned to Bellamy, demanding that he reveal something he had been concealing.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.
I have no idea why you did all those messed up things,” Bellamy shrugged, denying any involvement in Caspian’s plan to use my phone.
“Bellamy! Don’t be a f*ucking moron. You asked me to use her phone to somehow find out from her father’s guards where her mother’s grave is,” Caspian yelled, causing me to gasp and turn to look at Bellamy.
“Yeah! So he damn well knew it was me all along when I was pretending to be you. It was just a damn joke,” Caspian hissed, “I got myself into trouble by calling the guard and threatening him to reveal the location of the grave, and now he’s accusing me of shit? He took all the credit while I ended up with a damn slap,” Caspian continued to shout, locking eyes with me as if I were in the wrong for striking him.
“Which you deserved,” Wolvin interjected, stepping in.
“Stay out of it,” Caspian pointed his finger at Wolvin, who shook his head and grabbed my arm, pulling me behind him protectively.
“Why should I?” Wolvin challenged. “Because you’re not a part of the pact,” Caspian muttered through clenched teeth. Now that I was away from Caspian’s intense gaze, I was able to look at Bellamy. We shared a quick glance before he abruptly turned away, looking guilty.
So whatever Caspian had said was true then.
“I don’t give a damn about your pact. I’ve signed a contract, and according to that, she’s my wife and my responsibility,” Wolvin’s voice was resolute.
“I’ve allowed you fools to indulge in the fun of your pact for far too long, but that doesn’t mean I can’t protect her. And as for her slapping you, it was her setting a boundary. None of you should even be using her private property for any reason, let alone manipulating her into feeling guilty for objecting,” Wolvin’s words thankfully validated my feelings, helping me hold back my emotions and recognize that I hadn’t done anything wrong.
“She’ll react strongly until you tell her the truth,” he continued, ensuring that Caspian couldn’t even get a glimpse of my face.
“And for now, I believe you guys have exhausted her enough. All you’ve been doing is pulling her and pushing her around. I’m taking her to my room for the rest of the day so that you all can give yourselves a break, learn to respect her space, and treat her beyond her physical presence,” Wolvin’s voice was the only one heard now.
“She will stay—,” Bellamy attempted to object, but Wolvin silenced him by pointing his finger at him.
“Is it already 4 am and she’s still awake, dealing with all of you. She needs rest, give her some time,” he groaned, acknowledging how exhausted I must have been.
Each word he uttered held a tremendous amount of significance. I was astonished at how much wisdom he could convey, especially since he had typically remained quiet.
The next thing I knew, Wolvin had taken hold of my hand and was leading me to his bedroom. My other mates stood in silence behind, leaving me to wonder whether they would return with apologies or act more anxiously, increasing my sense of guilt.
But none of that mattered in that moment as Wolvin closed the door to his room and locked us inside together. “You give these jerks attention, and they start thinking they own you,” he grumbled, unconsciously running his hand over his muscular chest.
