Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee Chapter 118

Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee (Book 2)

Chapter 118 Forced And Killed (Caspian Diego)

Years Ago:

“Dad!” I whispered his name urgently as he continued to gaze at her with those eyes that unsettled me.

“Hmm, stay here,” Dad instructed, nudging me behind the car even though it was pointless. She had already noticed me and had even offered a friendly yet concerned smile my way.

“Is everything alright?” Dad approached her, his tone sharp.

“My car broke down,” she weakly smiled, pouting slightly as she searched for a cellphone signal.

“You shouldn’t be out here without your guards,” Dad replied, his eyes catching sight of a maid in the car’s backseat. So she was of royal blood too.

I suspected she was a Luna from some pack, though not a pack like ours. It had to be a wealthier pack than most. Otherwise, why else would she be dressed as if she were coming back from the royal mansion from the costume party? She was certainly from one of the affluent packs, explaining why she’d received an invitation.

That notion frightened me.

My father didn’t hold a favorable opinion of wealthy people. Since our pack had lost everything, he developed a resentment toward those who possessed abundance. It might not have made logical sense, but it did in his mind.

According to him, it was unjust that others could lead fulfilling lives while our pack was reduced to the same level as those underprivileged packs that nob*ody cared about.

“It’s alright. I usually take this route. My husband–the alpha of the pack-had to stay behind because my son has an archery class today,” she spoke gleefully about her son. It reminded me of my own mother. Though I had never met her, Kellice had taken on the responsibility to ensure I never felt alone.

But today, I felt solitude more acutely. “Ah, the woman in the back,” my dad mentioned, referring to the maid. I deduced she was a maid due to the golden ribbon adorning her wrist. Each pack was assigned a specific color, at least among the wealthier packs.

The Luna of the pack typically wore that colored ribbon in her hair, while the maids would wear it around their wrists. As we didn’t meet the criteria of wealthier people, no color was assigned to us.

“Do you mind if I take a look at your car? I’m quite skilled at fixing things,” my dad’s warm smile sent shivers down my skin.

I didn’t like the direction this was taking. I wanted to warn the lady to distance herself from him, but it was too late. She had already consented and walked back to retrieve tools from her car’s trunk.

Once he was out of the maid’s sight, he took hold of the tool and without warning, struck the woman on the back of her head. I witnessed her eyes widen as they met mine, the realization of my father’s intentions dawning upon her.

As she hit the ground with a thud, her blood spilled out in torrents.

“Daddy, please don’t do this,” I cried out, rushing to kneel beside the woman. My dad ignored me and approached the maid, tapping on her window. She seemed oblivious to what was unfolding. In the meantime, I removed my shirt and pressed it gently against the wounded woman’s head. “Please wake up and flee,” I whispered to her, my gaze fixed on my father, luring the maid out and then delivering a blow to her head.

My head was spinning as I begged the lady to get up. Unlike this lady, my dad didn’t leave the maid alive. He hit her until I heard the crack in her skull. He even left the baby in the backseat of the car.

“Hel—p me,” the lady began to wake up. She held onto my hand and begged me for help. I was shaking when I nodded, but before I could get up, my dad grasped me by the hair on the back of my head and tossed me to the side.

“Daddy, please no,” I begged and begged while I felt like he had cracked my arm when he shoved me on the road. My dad mercilessly dragged her behind the car, and for the rest of the few minutes, I just heard her groan and cry while my father forced his way into her.

At some point, I started throwing up at the idea of what was happening. My father’s obsession with a Luna of any pack had grown worse. He had lost his mind, but that wouldn’t be the first time.

I have seen him do whatever he was doing to this lady and to someone else, too. It was disgusting to think my father didn’t believe in right and wrong anymore.

He was moaning like it was the best thing in the world. After he was done, he repeatedly hit her until he had killed her.

He then came out from behind the car, fixing his pants and looking around at the mess he had created.

“I will send this one to the alpha king as the dead b*ody of Kellice. As for the other one, I will burn her into a crisp in her car,” he kept talking to himself while scratching his scalp and looking so normal.

He proceeded to drag the dead b*ody of the maid into our car, and then Luna into her own car. I couldn’t even utter a word out of fear. I didn’t want to get his attention at a moment when he wasn’t even in his right mind.

It all unfolded right in front of me, and I felt utterly helpless for these women. My arm was aching, so I quietly slid into the passenger seat of the car while cradling it. It wasn’t wise to tell him about the possible fracture.

However, a question nagged at me: What did he mean by presenting the maid’s b*ody as Kellice’s? Did that imply he wouldn’t hand over Kellice to them?

Would she be safe? Or would she undergo the transformation into a wild one, as others had claimed happened after being bitten?
