The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame Chapter 152

The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame

Chapter 152 (Harper Alizah Grace’s POV)

“Where is my wife?” I woke up to a sound coming from outside my room. What is that noise? My brow furrowed as I got up. I slowly approached the door and opened it.

“Please, leave now, Zachary. You’re not welcome here anymore,” My aunt firmly told him. Two of our guards are holding his hand, preventing him from coming close. “Please, I need to explain,” He almost begged. I let out a sigh and started walking towards their place. They immediately looked at me when they noticed me walking towards them.

“Harper,” he murmured my name. I looked straight at him without any emotion in my eyes. I don’t know

where he got his courage to show up here and talk like this. Has he forgotten what he did?

“They’re right; you’re not welcome here. It would be best if you left now, Zach,” I coldly uttered. He just looked at me, begging me to take back what I said. Why would I? He’s not welcome here anymore because of what he did. How many times does he need to hurt me?

Why does he need to kill my mother? The grandmother of his child. “Wife,” He called me again. I shook my head, “Leave now. Don’t wait for me to do something we both don’t want to happen.”

He looked down and took a deep breath. He looked up again, “Please, for your child, love. Let me explain,” What else will he explain? It is clear what happened and what sin he committed. He just killed my mother!

I shook my head emphatically. He had nothing more to explain. All I want to happen now is for him to leave. I don’t want to talk to him or see him.

“Harper, please. Just listen to me. You need to know the truth,” I glare at him. “What truth? The fact that you were the one who’s at fault? You’re cruel, Zachary. No matter how angry I am with your father, I didn’t do anything to ruin our relationship. But you? What did you do? You came here and made trouble. You’re messed up, and this is so messed up. I thought everything was going to be fine. I thought anger wouldn’t defeat love. But., but I was wrong about that. So, tell me. What truth should I need to know?” I couldn’t help but be emotional.

This is seriously too much. He looked down again, “I’m sorry,” He whispered, just enough for me to hear. Of course, he should be sorry. “But, love, you need to hear me out. This is hard for me, too. You should know that” I shook my head empathically.

I walked closer to him, “It’s hard for you? What about me? Zachary? Isn’t it hard enough? Your family destroyed my family. Your father killed my father. And now, you killed my mother. Why do I have to be hurt like this?” I shouted and punched his chest repeatedly.

He didn’t move and just let me hurt him. I wanted him to explain, but I’m tired of hearing lies. I can’t take one more lie anymore.

“Why do you have to hurt me like this, Zach?” I asked him weakly. Tears kept falling from my eyes. He didn’t talk, “Why do I need to suffer this way?” I sobbed. “This is too much, Zach. I don’t want anything of this,” I bite my inner l*ip and look up at him.

The pain and guilt can be seen in his eyes. He was about to hold my hand, but I stepped back and shook my head, “Don’t t*ouch me,” I closed my eyes and tried to calm down.

I need some clarification now. I don’t know what I should do. “Just leave now. Came back here when my mind is clear,” I said and turned my back on him. I was about to leave when he talked.

“I didn’t kill your mother,” I immediately looked back. What does he mean? That my eyes were lying that time? “Believe me. I did not kill your mother.” He repeated. I looked at him in pure disbelief. “Please, leave now. I wasn’t born yesterday. I know what I saw, and my eyes don’t lie,” he shook his head this time.

“I know it’s unbelievable, but that’s what happened,” I laughed sarcastically. Is he making me laugh now? Can he hear himself? Is he telling me this bullshit now?

“Oh, please, Zach. Just leave now. You can’t fool me anymore. If you continue this nonsense, you better not show me your face,” I warned him. He shook his head again and tried to approach me.

“Stay where you are. Do you know what I just discovered, Zach?” I asked him. He stopped moving and looked at me seriously.

“No, I don’t,” Of course. He does not know. “Your father loved my mother. Kesha is my mother’s step-sister. My father died because of your father. My mother did not kill your mother and sister. Do you know what does that mean? Your father and Kesha caused the death of your mother and father,” I told him.

He did not say something. He’s not shocked after all. Don’t tell me he knew that already. I blinked twice, “You know that stuff, don’t you?” He nodded slowly, causing me to look at him angrily.

“Then why did you kill my mother?” I yelled in pure disbelief. What the f*uck? Is he serious now?

“I told you, I did not kill her!” I closed my hand tightly. “And you know that’s absurd, Zach!” I yelled back. I glared at him sharply.

“You know it wasn’t my mother who killed them. So why did you do it? Do you really want to destroy our relationship? Tell me now, do you want us to stop? Do you want to end everything? I’m so sick of this, Zach. I’m f*ucking tired and mess up!”

“I know you’re confused and angry.

But you can’t give me a chance to explain. I told you already. I did not kill your mother. You can’t accept that because you thought I was lying, but I’m not. I’m not lying to you anymore, Harper,” but he just lied now.

I saw him yesterday, choking my mother. I cover my face problematically. “My eyes don’t lie,” he cut me off.

“Not everything the eye can see is true,” I shut my mouth close. “So, listen to me, please. Just hear me out,” I slowly shook my head. I was about to talk when I felt nausea and pain in my stomach. My eyes widened in shock and panic.

No, not my baby. A pair of arms captured me when I was about to fall to the ground. I lost my strength, “Love, are you okay?” he asked me in panic. I held my stomach and cried.
