The Luna’s Choice by Kat Silver (Theo and Ayla)
Chapter 153: Kingston
I put the bottle to my lips again, feeling the liquid burn down my throat.
I didn’t feel Ayla anymore.
Not even the pull that had still been there even after she left me.
Nothing.

They had marked each other. I felt it. Like when her tether broke when she became a Greytooth again. It wasn’t as painful as I thought it would’ve been. At least not physically. M**tally, I accepted it was what it was. Emotionally, I was… defeated.
I slipped my hand in my pocket and pulled out the stone I had been carrying. I didn’t know why I had been so determined to get it. Looking at it now, I had an ominous feeling that I had set something in motion. Something I shouldn’t have.
But what’s done was done.
The protective barrier that had kept it hidden all these years couldn’t be re-established. Not by me, anyway. And not within the ruins it was taken from.
Besides, we may need it in the coming events. There was power within the stone. A power that had blessed and protected my pack for
generations. If I couldn’t use it to bring them back, I would use it to keep from losing anything else.
I wrapped the smooth, iridescent stone in a velvet cloth, tucking it into a small c*hest. Using the trick from the tunnels, I placed the c*hest in a hole in the stone wall, placing the bricks back in their place to conceal it.
It would be safe here. Until I found the piece I needed.

A/N: Hello, readers! Thank you for reading The Luna’s Choice. I hope you enjoyed it. But don’t worry, Ayla’s story will continue in book two The Luna’s Fate! I will be taking a short break before I start posting the first chapters of the next book. Thank you for your patience as I take this time to get ahead on this and other stories for you all.
So she ended up with that asshole… Glad i went and came to this chapter when i read to chapter 78… I knew the author was setting it up this way when she started blowing Theos horn… Glad i can drop this now
Yup, they did Kingston dirty. Ayla was very inconsiderate of his feelings
Theo was being manipulated and drugged all this time, they used Ayla smell so Kylee could keep him from his true mate + Kylee made Ayla incredibly dirty which wasn’t even true. Kingston wanted to keep Ayla for himself just because he had this plan to rebuild the pack and used her as a bait, I would even say he started to became obsessed about her.
We clearly read a different book or you didn’t read it properly if you think Theo was the bad one.
I loved the book.
I rooted for Theo and Ayla because they were manipulated this whole time. Harry had a plan, Kingston had a plan, but Theo and Ayla just wanted to be happy, he didn’t love her because of the power she had or some weird belief that she could bring their pack back, he loved her because he was her true mate and they were destined to be together.
I would NEVER connect or get would a guy that was fu**ing my sister before he found or after that’s crazy there’s no amount of love in the world she should have kept the bond severed and waited for second chance mate.
I was rooting for Kingston, now I’m sad
I agree. I just don’t like how it pans out. I mean I get Theo’s been drugged and all that’s why he acted that way. But he f*cked her sister!!! He hurt her. The author shouldn’t have painted him in such a bad light. And now, Kingston has been painted the villain. I just love Kingston.

Wow this was a roller coaster – at first Theo got on my nerve acting like a teenager then you realize he was manipulated even though like Briggs said he could have just investigated on his side – I was rooting for Kingston until the Alpha gala because
1- so many secrets dude open your mouth and share
2- bringing her to a place full of alphas without being marked????
In the end let’s see where this goes for Book2 – very well written I was super impressed
I really enjoyed the book. I thought Kingston was a controlling, manipulative SOB when he started keeping secrets and ordering her around. Theo was a jerk too for how he was in the beginning but I think he came around well. It made more sense finding out about being drugged and the sent chemical from Harry. I do think Ayla gave in to him too easy but she is a people pleaser thru most of this book so it was to be expected. Looking forward to book 2!
I got so hooked in this novel. I particularly liked it at first. I had to read it because I was so invested in the story though I could say it somehow reminds me of the same story I’ve read where she was also the supposed blessed one. I love that story and I was trying my best to remember the title. So as I was saying, I really loved the start. I just don’t get it why she needs to end up with Theo. I was like, whyyyy? When it was getting so great, Kingston had to be a villain. I don’t really get it. Maybe I get my hopes up so hight in this. No matter how much Theo was manipulated which resulted to his actions, I just can’t seem to like him. His actions had stuck it my head and no matter what, I can’t find him to be a suitable ML. On the other hand, Ayla was fickle. I don’t know but I’m dropping this.
