Offered to the Lycan King by Misha K
Chapter 228
Keya became hyper aware of the fine dusting of hair on his c*hest where her h*ands were right now. Her eyes followed that trail and it disappeared just below his p*ants. She blushed heavily, a strange sensation wounding up in her belly. Surely, she was drunk. He brought his m*outh closer to her and she found herself waiting. Her heart beat so fast that she thought she would faint.
“I don’t know what I am doing,” he murmured. “But I am willing to flow with it.”
Suddenly, he lifted her like she was a rag doll and set her on his c*hest. Stunned, her h*ands landed on his c*hest. She tried to push herself away but he pinned her down to him with one h*and on the back and the other on her h*ips. The heat emanating from his skin burned through her dress. A ripple of anticipation cruised down her spine all the way to her toes. Her hair opened and fell like curtains around them.
His dark gaze swept over her face. Dark and dreamy. Entranced she couldn’t look away. “Put me down,” the logical side of her braid said.

“Keya,” he replied. “Ask your parents to scrap the tournament.”
Her breathing increased as her b*reasts rose and fell against his very h*ard c*hest. “What’s the fun in it?”
He remained quiet as he brought his h*and to the back of her head. Pulling her down to him, he met her l*ips. She gasped but she found herself opening to him. Her logical part said that she should move away, but her b*ody had a mind of its own. She opened up for him like a blossom to soak the morning sunlight. A m*oan escaped her l*ips when he swept his t*ongue i*nside her m*outh and she tasted him along with the taste of lingering alcohol. Goddess. This wolf was already so intoxicating. Why did he need alcohol?
His t*ongue worked wonders as he intertwined with hers in a battle of domination—one she was failing. Why was it that she wanted to submit to this dark Alpha? There was something i*nside her that had stirred up the level that for a moment she felt dizzy. Was it because of the k*iss? She let out a reluctant cry when he pulled away.
They were both breathless. “Look at you,” he said in a hoarse voice. She could feel the length of his e*rection on her belly and the apex of her t*highs. He pressed her further into his h*ips. “Your l*ips are swollen because of me. I am sure this is your first k*iss.”
She gasped. This was her first k*iss ever. A blush crept on her cheeks and heated her till the ears. “I want to go…” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
“No, you can’t,” he replied, his dark eyes hovering over her m*outh. “Remember you have granted me a favor?” She whined internally. Why did she do that? “You can’t take advantage of me during these favors.”
He left his grip on her and cradled his head over his crossed arms as he smirked. “I feel that you’ve taken advantage of me.”
With his h*ands not holding her, she felt… unsafe. Gritting her teeth at the wayward thought, she pushed against him and got up and now her t*highs s*traddled his h*ips. He hissed as she moved over his e*rection. “If you continue doing that, I may cum in my p*ants,” he said, low and dark.
Immediately she crossed over and sat on the side over his shirt, feeling all the more embarrassed. “Are we going to spend the whole night star-gazing?” she asked, chiding herself internally.
“Well, not if you want to gaze at me. I would happily agree to that,” he replied.
She smacked his arm and he let out a laugh. Moments later, she was lying beside him. She didn’t know when she crept near him just to bask in the heat of his body. He was so warm that she wanted to curl up. The mattress of her bed wasn’t this inviting. Gosh. ‘Keya, you are going mad!’ she said to herself. She decided that this was nothing but l*ust. She had never been close to any boy in her school. There were so many who wanted to flirt with her or take her out on a casual date, and she had refused them all. Why? Because she had eyes for Ethan. But now she wasn’t sure if she really wanted Ethan or not.
“Do you see those stars?” his voice broke her reverie. He was pointing at a constellation. “That’s Orion, the hunter. Artemis, the huntress, fell madly in love with him, but her brother, Apollo, never liked their relationship. In order to break the relationship, Apollo tricked her into shooting an arrow on his head when he was swimming. She shot her arrow, k*illing him. When his b*ody washed ashore, she realized her mistake and cried and cried. In order to make him immortal, she placed him in the night sky amongst stars so that she could visit him every night in her chariot.” She sighed as she moved closer. “Sad…”
“Hmm…” He turned to his side as he faced her. “Don’t let anyone trick you. It costs relationships.”
She swallowed her saliva down feeling ensnared by his dark gaze for the hundredth time this night. “I won’t…” her words came out more as a promise than as mere reply.
“Good.” He stretched his arm. “Sleep on it. I don’t want you to have cramps when you go back.” She didn’t say anything and slipped over his arm. The next instant he pulled her head closer to him and now her face was buried in her n*eck. He brought his other h*and to her back and pressed her h*ard against his body. “You know what?” he said. “You should seriously ask your parents to scrap that tournament.”
“Else?”
“Else I might end up k*illing all the Alphas in there.”
She chuckled. “That is against the rules.”
“Who cares?” he sighed.
“Some would say that you are in love with me,” she teased him.
“Nope, but I am sure that some would say that you are madly in love with me after a few days,” he said c*ockily. She laughed against his skin. “You are delusional!”
“Or a seer.”
She loved his witty side which she was sure he didn’t have. However, his next question stiffened her. “Why can’t I smell your Lycan?”
Keya froze in his arms. She didn’t answer him for a long time and he didn’t push her further. Eventually, she said, “I don’t know…” She didn’t want to lie to him. She scolded herself that she had forgotten the risk of meeting any of the Alphas up so close. They would come to know about her inability to shift.
His answer relaxed her. “It’s fine,” he said. “Some are late bloomers.”
“Or maybe I have more human blood in me,” she suggested. “My mom is a human.”
“Could be,” he shrugged.
“Doesn’t it affect you?” she asked, lifting her head to gaze in his eyes.
“Why should it?” he said. “If you can’t, you can’t.”
She rested her head back on his arm. How could he take it so casually? Even her family members were worried.
Hell, even she was worried. “I have a favor to ask,” she said.
As if he understood her predicament, he said, “Don’t worry, I will never disclose this to anyone.”
“Thanks,” she smiled. Assured, she closed her eyes.
They continued to talk about various other things and she didn’t know when she went off to sleep. But she remembered curling in his c*hest and his big h*ands pulling her closer.
When Keya got up in the morning, the morning sun had filtered through her window. She whipped her head down and found herself covered in her comforter. How did she come to her bedroom? When did she come here? She tossed her comforter and rushed towards her window to see down, but she saw gardeners working as usual. Did he get her back here last night, undetected? “Oh my goddess!” she breathed as all her thoughts went back to last night and she turned crimson. She shook her head. “I am going insane!”
Faria opened the door and came bustling in. “You have to visit the temple of the Moon Goddess on the northern hill. Please get ready. All other Alphas are coming and this is going to go live!”
“What?” she squealed. “Why? Why wasn’t I informed earlier? And why do we have to go there when we have a temple right in the premises of the castle?”
“Because the pack’s people want to see you along with all the other Alphas. While they don’t have any part in determining who would be your groom, the media wants to show them that they are a part of this.”
“This is absurd!” Keya couldn’t believe that her family allowed it.
Faria shrugged. “Get ready. We have to be there by 11AM.”
“Do I have to walk all the way to the hill?” she asked, her eyes wide open.
Faria chuckled. “You know when I was getting old, I had left all the duties of the household. Your mother made me the nanny of your fathers and I had to quit because of health issues. Then when you were born, she called me again. And thank God, she called me again. You are so naive!”
“Fariaaa!” Keya grunted. “I am not naive and I seriously don’t understand how we can go by cars. No one will be able to see us!”
An hour later, Keya was dressed in ivory trousers and a beige full sleeves shirt with brown boots. When she went out, she was expecting cars at least, but instead she saw a dark brown horse. “We will be riding?” she squealed. She was never good at riding. “This is so bloody ancient!” she whined as she looked at her mother. “What are we doing here, mom?” she asked, displeased with the arrangement.
Lia smiled. “This is all a part of the big show, darling. Do you know that after yesterday violence has gone down by almost fifty percent? Every other household is interested in you and the Alphas.”
Surprised, she l*icked her dry l*ips. “Really?”
