The Alpha’s Exclusive Stripper by Selena Madrid
Chapter 17
TREVOR stood at the front door as if he had been waiting for me. He was leaning on the doorframe. He turned his head to my direction as if he had sensed my presence. I was wearing a royal-blue A-line skirt dress which I paired with flat sandals with the same color and based on the alpha’s expression, he liked it.
There was a little smile that curled his l*ips.
It was one of the most expensive dresses in my closet.
If it was up to me, I would have worn my comfort jeans, shirt, and sneakers instead. But of course, Mariz had another thing to say.

‘Everyone in the Crimson Moon pack represents Alpha Trevor. That includes you, Priscilla. You need to wear only the best.’
All the things I was using and wearing this morning including my satchel bag, earrings, and wristwatch would be more than enough to buy myself a house and lot with three rooms and a wide backyard.
Today, Trevor was looking at me as if he was waiting for me to say something and when my l*ips remained sealed, his forehead creased which made me nervous. I remembered the latest deal I made with Spencer and refused to be guilty about it. We may be mates like he said but he was only keeping me around for a power boost that he would get once our bodies bonded. He was only using me.
He didn’t want others to find out about me because that would mean risking his power supply. Me.
Besides, my contract with the Vampire was strictly between the two of us. Trevor had nothing to do with whatever activities I’d have inside Oblivion. It was that one thing I had a little control over. And because it was a blood contract; he couldn’t interfere with it.
I shouldn’t feel compelled telling this man everything. He was doing the same. I still felt like there was a bigger reason why he was sending me to Howard University. It wasn’t just about learning their nature or the ways of their world. There was more. And it seemed like he had no plans of telling me why.
I saw Mariz outside. She was standing beside the car along with Declan, the driver and Ryder, the b*odyguard. She told me about them during breakfast.
We had to be on campus in thirty minutes but here was her alpha, blocking my path.
I cleared my throat. ‘‘Is there something you need from me, alpha? Mariz and I have to leave in-”
“I know. K*iss me goodbye,” he demanded. “And then you can go”
My l*ips parted from shock and Trevor took advantage of it. I could feel the possessiveness in his k*isses when he grabbed my nape and pulled me close as he swiped his t*ongue against the seam of my l*ips before nibbling on my lower l*ip, quietly commanding me to open my m*outh for him.
And when I did, he tangled his t*ongue with mine.
I swallowed down a m*oan. I had already taken a cold shower but my traitorous b*ody was feeling hot all over again. And that must be his goal as he broke the k*iss.
He didn’t want me to forget who owned me. He wanted me to be reminded of this blistering heat as I left. When I briefly threw a glance at Mariz and others, they had already taken their backs on us.
“That’s the first thing you need to remember, kitten. Tomorrow and in the following days to come, in case you don’t see me standing here, you need to come up to my office for it. You can’t leave this place without giving it to me.”
Trevor talked as if I owed that goodbye k*iss to him. Every moment I spend with him, every encounter we had just takes my breath away. I could never guess what he would do next. He smirked when he saw me too stunned to speak.
He finally gave way and casually said, “Go. The campus director is now waiting for you.”
I could only nod as I stepped out of the front door. Mariz was shaking her head while the men beside her looked as if they were trying h*ard not to smile. Declan swiftly opened the car door for me. I sat inside along with Mariz. We were about to leave when Trevor knocked on the window. I rolled it down.
“Your mate is a predator, Priscilla.” My eyes widened as I shot a conscious look at Mariz’s direction. “She knows. Everyone in this pack knows. Everyone here is a predator. Therefore, you are too. Regardless of who you think you are, you are one of us now. You are not a prey.” There was a faint smile on his l*ips when he
said, “You are a predator. That is the only thing you need to remember as you go inside the campus.”
And then Trevor motioned to Declan who nodded and started driving.
“Me? A predator?” I muttered, still taken aback. “The alpha is the strangest and the most complicated man I had ever met.”
The three wolves who were with me just grinned.
“The Alpha is just telling you to have more confidence in yourself,” Mariz commented. “I’m impressed. That’s the longest thing I’ve heard him say to a woman.”
My brows furrowed. “You make it sound like he never talks to a woman.”
“The Alpha wouldn’t talk to anyone, especially to women, unless he thinks it is extremely necessary,” Ryder answered. “He had never given his time to anyone like this before. It’s just you, Priscilla. He may be known as the most vicious man in the kingdom but he never did things without a reason.”
I… didn’t know how to respond to that.
I didn’t know anything about Trevor at all. Just the rumors I heard about him and his family. But I didn’t want to know him or any of them. I didn’t want to trust the wolves anymore. I already did that so many times before and it left me broken beyond repair.
They would do the best things to lure you out. They would say exactly the words you want to hear. They will give you hope. They will make you cling to it. And then they would shatter that hope without mercy.
I could never trust them again. We may be from the same kingdom, but we were different. I was only going through the motions today as a means to survive. Nothing more, nothing less.
After twenty minutes, the car stopped in front of the tall gates with a dove logo in it. A symbol of peace. But it was far from that. I used to catch the staff in the villa gossiping about it, about the complications and chaos the students had brought on campus.
Howard University was not for the faint of heart.
The gates opened and our car entered the campus grounds.
Since the official class will begin next week, I was hoping that there wouldn’t be a lot of students here today. But I was wrong. In fact, it was like almost all of the students were gathered here today. I could see all their heads turning to us.
Ryder opened the door for Mariz. I was the last to step out of the car.
The second my feet landed on the ground; I heard their venomous voices.
“There she is. The Alpha’s w*hore.”
