Offered to the Lycan King by Misha K
Chapter 199
Lia’s b*ody trembled in anticipation. Her heart sped up and she let out a rough exhale as she looked over her shoulder to see what Hawk was doing.
Arthur lay on his back down on the soft grass and said, “I want you to s*traddle me, baby girl.”
Lia’s gaze went to his e*rection that jutted out of his narrow h*ips. Feeling encouraged, she s*traddled his t*highs, slowly slipping his e*rection i*nside her. His muscles bulged and he cupped her b*uttocks, spreading them wide. His c*hest rumbled with a dangerous growl when she started moving on him.
“I am gonna push you down a little, Lia,” Hawk’s deep voice in her ears made her shudder. He pushed her forward a little. He positioned his e*rection on her a-hole and slowly drilled inside. She gasped at first and then she m*oaned as Hawk moved i*n and out slowly. Soon, they reached their o*rgasm and came together. Her c*ore muscles fluttered around their c*ocks and they shot their releases i*nside her with a guttural snarl.

The swim after the s*ex cooled her skin off. Since she couldn’t swim, she stayed on the edges of the pool while her mates dived in and swam across. They would take her to the middle on their backs once in a while. “You should learn to swim,” said Arthur, when she was on his back.
“Teach me, please,” she mewled.
He chuckled. “Sure. But it’s better if I teach you in the controlled climate of the castle.” The swimming pool at the basement of the castle was temperature controlled and over there he was going to keep a keen eye on her, scared that she might drown. After much contemplation, he said, “Lia, I don’t want to stop you from going to college. I will hate it if your talent goes wasted like this. But I assure you that I will come to meet you whenever I can. Besides, Hawk will be with you at all times.”
She took a deep breath in. “I have thought about it, Arthur. It’s simply impossible to live with you or Hawk. I have taken a conscious decision not to go.” She buried her face in his n*eck. “I love you…”
“I love you too, baby girl,” he sighed. “But it won’t be right for me to leave my parents alone.”
“I know…”
The boys shifted into their wolf forms as Lia changed into her clothes to go back. By the time they reached the castle, it was twilight. They went to their room and all three took a bath together. After wearing fresh clothes, they came out for dinner.
Hunter and River were sitting in the main hall, discussing something but the moment they saw them, they stopped talking. “There is something we would like to talk to you about,” Hunter said in a very serious voice.
Lia blinked her eyes in confusion wondering what it would be now. She had already conveyed it to them that she won’t leave. She went to sit next to Arthur as Hawk sat with his mother. From the corner of her eyes, she saw Elijah entering the main hall with his h*ands in his jeans’ pockets. He sauntered to sit on the same couch as Hunter, looking extremely somber.
Hunter studied the three of them and closed his eyes for a moment. He looked at River who nodded as if encouraging him. “Lia, boys…” he started. “Your mother and I were discussing what to do next. I know that Lia was keen on going to college and she has sacrificed it all for Arthur.” He looked at Arthur with fatherly love. “Arthur doesn’t want to leave us because of all the responsibilities on my shoulders that he wants to share, but—” he turned his eyes to Elijah. “After a lengthy talk with my Beta, I realized that going to college would be a great idea for all of you.”
“Father!” Arthur was startled.
Hunter put his h*and up for him to stop. “Perhaps the Moon Goddess has shown us the right path. Your mother could never go to college because she was married young and had no other choice. There were too many dangers in her path. I couldn’t let her go either because her life was full of so many perils—’’ he shuddered. “It was impossible for me to expose her to those. However, now things have changed. We have a stronger pack and your mother also feels safe and protected. Together we have run the Dark Moon pack in the best possible way.” He turned to Elijah who nodded. “Your Uncle Elijah has been my Beta for ages and after talking it out with him, we have come to the conclusion that this is the right time and opportunity for all three of you to go and finish your college. Why shouldn’t you be more qualified to run the pack when you have all the time in the world? We will support you because we can.”
Lia’s jaw dropped. She blinked once and then twice to see that she wasn’t dreaming. “A-are you sure?” she croaked. “Because I can do online college just like Alpha River.”
River laughed quietly. “Yes Lia, we are sure. I know online college is an option, but you are so talented. Why would we waste your talent? What is it that you want to graduate in?”
Emotions churned in her c*hest. Her demeanor softened. “I haven’t decided, but I could go for a degree in business.”
Hunter chuckled. “I knew. And you should go for it.” He turned his attention to his pups. “What about you two?”
“I will take whatever Lia takes,” Hawk replied with a silly smile, earning a blush from her.
“Father,” Arthur said in a grave voice. “I will be away from you for four years. That is a lot of time. It’s not right”
“It’s not that you won’t come here in your holidays, Arthuif Hunter countered. “You must go to college with your mate. As far as the pack is concerned, Elijah and I are here. We’ve done a great job together and will do that as long as we are together. Do you doubt us?”
“What? No!” Arthur was flabbergasted. “I don’t doubt you, but you need me.”
Hunter’s l*ips curled up. “Arthur, you will be surprised that Gabriel, Tina and Gina are also looking forward to joining you all at the college. You three are going to be the first ones to get into a college and trust me, when you come back, your first project will be to build a college for the shifters.”
Lia slapped her h*ands on her m*outh.
“Father, all other pack Alphas have their sons with them in training as soon as they turn eighteen,” Arthur argued. “So?” Hunter shrugged. “That isn’t a rule. Moreover, do you think your mom and I are so old that we can’t take care of the pack?”
Arthur suppressed his l*ips to stop laughing.
“Your mom had both of you when she was only nineteen, so don’t you accuse of old age!” Hunter actually growled. “Who the hell is accusing you of that?” Arthur didn’t even know how to counter the argument. Werewolves lived longer than humans. They matured fast and were superior to them in all ways. Suddenly, realization dawned upon him. Lia wanted to have the best qualification so that she could stand in their society with grace and dignity and not appear weak.
River said, “Four years is h*ardly a time for us. My pups are going to be so much more qualified to take over the pack.”
“What is your opinion, Uncle Elijah?” Arthur asked, well aware that Elijah was against the whole college thing for Lia.
Elijah crossed his arms across his c*hest. “I don’t mind it as long as Lia marries the two of you before leaving. The pack needs an assurance that the future Alphas have their mate already and that the pack’s future is not in the dark.”
Arthur was thrown off the hook. He glanced at Hawk who was absolutely cool about the whole situation. “What do you say, brother?”
“Arthur,” Hawk said. “Father has made a wise decision. It’s not that we won t be training Lia at the college. Let’s just go for it. Like mom said—four years is h*ardly any time.”
“Yes!” River exclaimed. “And when you come back, we are going to h*and you over the reins of the pack and go for a looooong vacation!”
“That’s right,” Hunter supported his wife. He winked at her. “To an unknown location.”
She blushed.
“Oh goddess!” Hawk growled. “Get a room!”
“Why?” Hunter said. “Who knows we will come back with another pup?”
“Ew!” Arthur jumped up. “Just don’t say it!”
Elijah and the rest burst out laughing. Elijah said, “Well River, we would love to have another pup in the family. You should go for it.”
“God damn it!” Hawk too jumped up. “This conversation has taken a disgusting turn.” Lia started giggling. “Don’t go just yet!” Elijah laughed. “We have to talk about your marriage.”
As Hunter and River rolled with laughter at their sons’ reaction, the boys sat down again.
Elijah continued, “The Shaman has said that the best time for the wedding would be the next full moon. Since that is the only day left before you will get immersed with your tests and exams, it is better that your wedding happens that day.”
“How far is the next full moon?” Lia asked as her thoughts ran wildly about her wedding dress and other things. “It is two weeks later.”
“Jesus!” she rasped with wide eyes. “I have to talk to my mom and dad!”
“Of course,” River said with a lovely smile. “And I hope that you are happy about it.”
Lia rose to her feet and went to sit next to River. “If my mates are okay with the arrangement, I am super happy.” She took River’s h*and in hers. “Thank you for being the most understanding person in my life.” She looked at Arthur as if waiting for his approval. When he nodded, she beamed with ecstasy. She hugged River t*ightly. “There are no words… mom…”
River’s h*ands came around her in a warm embrace. She loved how she said mom to her. When she pulled back, she said, “I am very proud of you, Lia. Because of you my pups are also going to college. It’s something novel.” A pale blush dusted Ida’s cheeks. “Thank you again.”
The conversation drifted to preparations for the wedding. Mia along with her pups joined them and the whole room was filled with excitement. Lia missed her parents and Shiloh, but she didn’t call them to disturb them at this time of the night. She just sent a text to her daddy and then joined the conversation.
That night Lia slept between her mates and no nightmare plagued her. The nightmares of dark basement were replaced by wedding dresses and green and blue eyes.
