Sharing Beatrice A Luna To Her Stepbrothers by Alexis Dee Book 3
Chapter 554 – A New Beginning Or A New Trap? (Beatrice)
“Do you accept Akin as your mate?”
I blinked my eyes twice to make out my mate standing before me, but his face began to blur.
“Didn’t I already do this?” I grinned, trying to recall the exact moment I accepted him.
“Do you take her as your bride?”

Then I heard it, and when I looked up, I saw Helel standing before me, his l*ips curved in a warm smile.
“Wait! I must have accepted you over 200 times already, it doesn’t make any sense,” I shook my head repeatedly as I heard children running around.
It felt like I was reliving a dream over and over again.
“Beatrice!”
A whisper made me lift my head and notice the darkness surrounding me.
Everyone had vanished, gone!
Darkness enveloped everything.
“I shouldn’t be here. I should be with my mates,” I started to panic, wandering straight in search of an exit.
However, the more steps I took, the more I began to lose sight of myself and my mates. The bed I had woken up from was now nowhere to be found. I had left it far behind.
So, I continued walking in the dark until a faint ray of light emerged from a distance.
“Light!” I exclaimed with tears welling up in my eyes.
As I moved towards the light, I found myself drifting further from my past and my sense of self. Soon, I was engulfed by a blinding light.
“Beatrice!”
“Beatrice Mintz!”
A loud shout and something hitting my head snapped me awake. I gasped and sat up straight in my chair, staring at the furious teacher before me.
“Your grades have gone down, and now you’re dozing off in class too?” she scolded, causing me to turn my head and glance at the other students.
“Huh?” I stammered, feeling out of sorts.
“You’re the laziest girl on earth,” she declared, mentioning a place I hardly felt connected to.
“Earth?” I muttered, scratching the back of my neck before the realization dawned on me that I was in school and had nodded off, with everyone now laughing at me.
“Everyone, back to paying attention,” Mrs. Lavina sighed, shaking her head in disappointment.
After class, I hurried to my locker to grab my bag when I spotted my friend approaching. It took me a moment to recall her name. This had been happening more frequently lately.
“Did you see him today? He looks so hot,” she said, a smile dancing on her l*ips as she spoke of someone who seemed to have slipped my mind as well.
“Gloria?” I ventured her name, watching as she frowned. “I mean, I don’t know. I haven’t seen him.”
Reality slowly began to sink in, and I started to remember the people around me.
“Are you interested in anyone at all? I mean, you got called out in class for the first time. It was so strange. It’s like you’ve been invisible all these years and suddenly everyone is noticing you,” Gloria said, her eyes wide with excitement, but I felt anything but excited.
I felt even more hollow, and being singled out in school was definitely not my thing. I’d rather fade into the background.
A group of mean girls sauntered by, and the queen bee glanced in my direction before moving on.
“Great, now she’s noticed me too,” I muttered, rolling my eyes, hoping she wouldn’t make my life any more miserable.
“You don’t know?” Gloria asked, and I turned to face her. Her presence felt oddly familiar, as if I had known someone like her before.
“What?” I watched her draw closer, leaning in to whisper in my ear.
“When Mrs. Lavina called you out, he said something like, ‘This girl is adorable at times’,” she giggled, pulling back, prompting me to take a moment before recalling who she was talking about.
“Ronnie said that?” My eyes widened in shock.
“Yeah!” she giggled, “Maybe that’s why everyone’s mad at you. You know how they all fancy him.” She made a dreamy face, but then something urged me to express my d*esires.
“I don’t know. I feel like… somewhere, I have a prince charming–or maybe two–” I hesitated, but she shook her head disapprovingly.
“You’ll be labeled a s*lut if you’re involved with two guys,” she joked, but I disagreed.
“Gloria! I feel like there’s more than just two who are vying for my attention, wanting to sweep me away on their horses to a land that’s truly mine,” I drifted off, until I felt a firm tap on my shoulder.
“Mrs. Lavina!” I straightened up abruptly, seeing her scowl at me with disp*leasure. Even Gloria appeared worried by Mrs. Lavina’s sudden appearance.
“The principal wants to see you,” she announced, gesturing for me to follow her. My dreams of being with my prince charmings were interrupted, and it wasn’t the first time it had happened.
“Water?” one of my subjects approached me with a glass, her hand trembling. I have just killed Zane and I couldn’t get the sight of him out of my mind. “Thank you,” I said, taking a sip before turning to Akin, who sat beside me.
“Here,” I offered him some.
It felt as though we had battled our greatest foe and emerged victorious. But why did we all feel so drained?
“You’re probably thinking if it weren’t for me, your brothers would still be alive,” I had thought I’d feel satisfied after killing Zane. But why did I feel so melancholy?
“Zane dug his own grave when he started killing innocent werewolves and weredragons. Heck, he even killed our brother Maddox,” Akin sighed, lowering his head.
“Where’s Helel?” I raised my head to scan the area and spotted him approaching. His demeanor seemed off.
He appeared stressed. But why?
We had vanquished everyone who posed a threat to us.
“The vortex!” he stopped abruptly, his words hanging in the air, drawing our attention back to him. “The vortex has reopened and it’s going to explode.”
“What do you mean?” Akin asked, but an unsettling feeling crept over me.
“I don’t know, but the vortex is emitting energy. I’ve heard some weredragons are feeling nauseous and-Beatrice! Are you okay?” He noticed my distant expression.
I heard their voices, but by then, my ears were ringing so loudly I couldn’t hear anything else.
They began rubbing my hands and back, but when I lifted my head, I saw the same girl who had given me water on her knees, clutching her ears.
It was only the weredragons who could hear this frequency.
I don’t know what happened next, but I remember collapsing into Akin’s arms and whispering my final words to them, “Come save me!”
After that, it was the same recurring dream of being accepted by my mates and having children. Until I awoke in darkness.
And then I found myself on the planet called Earth, trapped among humans with no memory of my true identity.
All I knew now was that my mates had to come for me.
Not just one mate, but all four of them.
Would Akin and Helel be willing to resurrect those who were not meant to live just to save me?
Here!
My journey begins anew.
