Sharing Beatrice A Luna To Her Stepbrothers by Alexis Dee Chapter 560

Sharing Beatrice A Luna To Her Stepbrothers by Alexis Dee Book 3

Chapter 560 – Beatrice Was His Mistress. (Maddox)

“How far?” Zane asked, probably weary from walking without using his powers. He had tasted immense power and, in return, became this power- hungry person who didn’t even realize the pain he had caused me when he took my life.

“Just right behind that rock,” I replied, not even tired from walking. I had been frequenting this place relentlessly, seeking solace in a false existence when loneliness gnawed at my insides. And then, I would retreat when I sensed myself slipping away from reality. It was painful. I felt lonely here until my brother arrived. My so-called brother, who didn’t know my truth and how I was going to betray him in this version of reality.

As soon as we stepped behind the rock and entered a big brown gate, I watched Zane’s eyes widen. “What is this place?” he frowned in confusion. But he didn’t need to worry. I was here with him. His brother would look after him.

“This is where we live,” I said, attempting to lead him forward, but he suddenly halted. The world here was merely a fantasy woven by lost souls.

There were cars, and people strolled about, oblivious to the truth.

“Are you sure this is where we used to live? I can’t recognize anything,” Zane whispered under his breath, already losing t*ouch with reality and doubting his own memory.

“Yeah, you forgot? Are you okay?” I then adopted a different expression. He studied my face and shook his head.

“It’s okay. The doctor said you’ll be fine soon,” I muttered, “we’re just coming from the hospital, Zane. Once you take the medicines and rest a little, you’ll be fine,” I said, guiding him to the sidewalk.

I knew the perfect house where I could take him. There was a lonely young girl who had succumbed to the fake reality of this world. She owned a house at the end of the road that always stood out.

There were many lost souls here, but she was the one I couldn’t forget. The reason was simple: the first time I arrived here, she grabbed me and claimed I was her husband.

Then I realized she had been here for a very long time and refused to cross the bridge. She died as a bride, and ever since she arrived here, the only thing she remembered was that she was supposed to be here with her husband. That memory lingered because of the white gown she wore when she woke up here.

I would visit her house and engage in small talk. It was heartwarming to hear her speak about how excited she’d be when her husband returned home. It was always one excuse or another. She would tell everyone her husband was at work or that he had left for a business trip.

“This is our house?” Zane was now entirely lost. The memories he retained before entering the fake world were now blurred.

So I could shape him however I wanted and make these memories his reality, only to crush them one by one. Of course, I held the power here because I could create an entirely new reality.

“Yeah, did you forget already?” I sighed, “please don’t say that in the house; you’ll hurt those who love you, brother,” I grabbed his arm and led him onto the front porch, lightly knocking on the door.

The door swung open, revealing Abilene with her green eyes brimming with hope. Her shoulder- length brown hair was loosely tied in a bun, and her blue dress appeared slightly damp at the hem, as if she had been washing dishes all this time.

“Hey, Maddiox,” she exclaimed, recognizing me, or at least the version of me present there.

“Abi! Look who came with me,” I gently nudged my brother forward, and she gazed at him. They exchanged confused glances, waiting for me to introduce them.

“This is your husband, my brother,” I announced, and a bright smile lit up her face as she rushed into his arms. Zane seemed a bit lost before he wrapped his arms around her and returned the hug.

“Now let’s get inside. We’ve been walking for a while,” I rolled my eyes and patted Zane’s back. The two entered the living room and sat down together, unsure of where to begin.

“I’ll serve the food,” she immediately got up and walked away, looking thrilled to see Zane.

“I—I don’t remember being with her,” Zane muttered, scratching the back of his neck.

“Don’t say that again,” I scoffed at him, making him tilt his head to hear more from me.

“Again?” he inquired.

“Yeah, remember last time when you said all that?

It was the day when you got caught cheating on her. When she yelled at you, you just told her you don’t remember marrying that version of her,” I watched his face slowly turn pale. “Zane! Your cheating ruined your house and her. She went into early labor and lost your child too. All because you didn’t even look guilty and kept pushing her onto the wall,” I shrugged as I watched him look guiltier and guiltier.

“I— I can’t believe I did that and I forgot about it,” finally, a new memory was set. He seemed so guilty and in pain.

I needed to make sure I planted the memories wisely because he would remember whatever he is learning here until he leaves this place, and then his memory will be set anew.

“Lunch is ready,” Abilene announced from the dining room. I wanted the two to get close, to create sweet memories here, and then I would strike Zane again.

I had been upset and bored here, but thank goodness, I got a reason not to cross the bridge now.

I watched Zane follow Abilene with a guilty look on his face, and I followed them into the dining room.

We sat down together and started feasting when Zane frowned and tilted his head before he uttered, “Where is she?”

My body trembled as I smiled at him, “Who?”

“There was someone-someone named Beatrice?” I felt like he had stabbed me again when he suddenly spilled her name from his damn l*ips.

“Zane! Don’t say her name. That is the girl you cheated on with your wife,” I had to make sure he didn’t say her name again, and I succeeded. He was shocked, and Abilene looked hurt.

I would reset her memory, but sadly, she would have to endure a little too for now.
