Sharing Beatrice A Luna To Her Stepbrothers by Alexis Dee Book 3

Chapter 602 – She Is H*orny For Him. (Beatrice)

“Hey, if you need to freshen up, the restroom’s that way,” Akin said, turning to me once he finished stretching. My gaze remained fixed on the girls until Akin followed my stare and then snapped his f*ingers in front of my face to redirect my attention to him.

“What’s up?” he asked, shooting a quick glare at the girls, who giggled shyly in response.

“They’re shamelessly checking you out,” I whispered, my fists clenched in frustration.

Akin leaned closer, focusing on my face to hear me repeat myself, but then I realized I was coming off too eager.

“What did you say?” he asked, and I shook my head. “Nothing. Yeah, I need to use the restroom, but I’m not comfortable with public ones,” I sighed, watching as he leaned against the wall, towering over me.

“Don’t worry, I’ll wait right outside,” he reassured me with a serious expression.

I nodded, following him as he led the way to the restroom he checked first. After finishing up, I emerged to find him waiting outside, but he wasn’t alone this time. One of the girls from earlier had approached him.

“This is San Herric town. We’re known for our hospitality and bad weather,” she joked, playfully attempting to run her f*inger over his arm.

Before I could intervene, he pulled his arm away from her. “I can tell,” Akin commented, glancing out the window at the dark clouds. Then, he turned to me and flashed a smile.

“Let’s grab a bite before we hit the road,” he said, walking away from her even as she continued talking.

Following him, I ended up sitting in the last row with him. The cafe had an outdoor setting too, but due to the sudden storm, the owner and staff had brought the chairs inside.

“The storm looks like it’s here to stay for a day,” Akin remarked, constantly checking the weather.

“But we’re still going home, right?” I asked hopefully, taking a bite of my sandwich.

“I wish I could say yes, but I’m afraid we might have to find a motel for the night,” Akin replied, turning to give me his full attention.

“Akin, my mom will lose her mind. You need to understand, I’m her only family, and I’ve never been away from home like this before,” I began to panic, unable to finish my sandwich. Our batteries had died, so I felt utterly helpless.

“Hey, of course I’ll find a way to get the message to your mom. Just relax,” Akin said, reaching out and gently placing his hand on mine, comforting me with a simple t*ouch. I stared at his hand and then into his eyes, nodding in agreement.

“Hey, I couldn’t help but eavesdrop,” the same girl from earlier interrupted, “Maybe I can help. So, you two are looking for a place to crash for the night? Instead of a motel, you can come to my place. I’m the mayor’s daughter of this town,” she said, her smirk leaving a bitter taste in my m*outh.

“Oh, you’re Herric’s daughter?” Akin inquired, and she nodded. This town seemed to have a generational crown being passed down; the Herrics had always been the mayors, and now it was her father’s turn.

“What do you say?” she asked, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

“Sure, I’ll have to discuss a few things with your father as well,” Akin nodded, making her gaze at him intently. I had never seen someone so eager for someone else’s attention before.

“Why my father?” she frowned, a hint of confusion in her expression.

“I’m the mayor’s son from the neighboring town. I’m sure your father would recognize me,” he waved his hand dismissively.

“Oh wow! That’s cute and-ummm-who is she?” she paused before asking that question.

“She’s a friend,” Akin introduced, and a wave of relief washed over her.

“Beatrice!” Akin gestured towards me, and then at her. She extended her hand for a handshake, and I had no choice but to shake hands with her politely, despite feeling jealousy and annoyance bubbling up inside me.

“My car is parked right outside, I can take you two with me,” she exclaimed, her excitement visible as if she was expecting something more than just a ride. I couldn’t help but feel annoyed. Why?

“Sure, I’ll cover the bill, and then we can join you,” Akin said, giving me a nod as if waiting for my approval. As if he had made the decision with me in the first place.

“No! I will pay. You’re a guest in my town, so I should pay,” she insisted, and despite Akin’s attempts to pay, she ended up covering the bill.

I was foolish not to see what she was up to. She had noticed Akin and taken a liking to him, and now she was hitting on him. I wondered if Akin was aware of her intentions.

Once we settled into her car, Akin took the driver’s seat because she insisted he drives, while she sat in the passenger seat, leaving me to take the backseat. I didn’t understand why she wanted Akin to drive, but as he hit the road, I noticed how she kept checking him out and biting her bottom lip throughout the car ride. The storm was pretty bad, and there was news that it might hail.

She took us to a big mansion standing among the regular homes. We arrived just in time because soon the rain started, and it turned really dark outside.

“I’ll prepare guest rooms for you two,” she mumbled as she welcomed us into her mansion.

There were maids and servants waiting for her orders at every step of the way. I squeezed closer to Akin when I realized she was getting us two bedrooms. I knew it would be inappropriate for us to stay in one bedroom, but I couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease.

And I didn’t know Akin had noticed it.

“Make it one,” he commented, and she stopped abruptly. When she turned around to look at him, Akin wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer.
