The Alpha God’s Luna by Marissa Gilbert Chapter 75

The Alpha God’s Luna by Marissa Gilbert

Chapter 75. Epilogue I

He watched the love of his life brush her delicate fingers over the flower they grew together the other day and smiled when the petals emanated a soft glow, responding to the touch of a goddess. Astraea smiled and peered at him, catching his gaze.

“You could help, you know,” she arched her brow at him. “If I come closer to you, no more work will be done today,” he promised, leaning against the glowing willow. His lips curled when he noticed the rosy tint on her cheeks.

“You could help, you know she taunted him, repeating the same words with a completely different tone and meaning. A growl rumbled through Fenrir’s chest, and she giggled, picking up the hem of her long silvery-white dress and charging into the garden maze.

He chased her, allowing her to think she’d escaped just for a few minutes, when, in fact, he knew exactly where she was the whole time. Her sweet scent and loud heartbeat told him everything he needed to know, so when he appeared out of nowhere and lifted her up in his arms, the scream of surprise was real, causing him to chuckle, spinning them until he fell into a flower bed with Astraea on top.

“I love you so much, wife.” He grinned at her. “Right back at you, husband.” She brushed her lips over his,

light like a feather, and immediately, he rolled them so that her glowing hair was scattered around the flowers and grass, and he was the one towering over her.

Their private ceremony happened just days ago, but it still felt surreal. Finally, no one could object to them being together.

“Asgard be damned, I missed you!” He couldn’t take his gaze off her. Their eyes locked, electricity crackling between them.

“Then do something about it.” She slid her hand under his shirt, getting a low, hungry snarl from him. The novelty of their reunion hadn’t worn off yet, so they still couldn’t imagine staying apart for long.

“That’s exactly what I plan to do.” Fenrir chuckled and leaned down to nip at her delicate neck, grazing his canines over her skin and parting her thighs at the same time. He nestled between them, sliding his hand up her leg and lifting her skirt. The Alpha god was already painfully hard for her, and just their clothes separated them from being one.

He would never get enough of this. He would never get enough of her.

“This is probably not the best place,” she panted as the sweet scent of her arousal reached his nostrils.

“Too late,” Fenrir muttered under his breath and crashed his lips over hers, unable to control himself anymore. A part of him was still afraid that it was a dream. What if he woke up, and she wasn’t there?

His hand moved up her torso, grasping the fullness of her breast and kneading it greedily.

“You are mine,” he growled into her ear, sliding his tongue down her neck.

“Yes!” Astraea breathed out, ripping buttons off his shirt because she couldn’t wait anymore either. She reached for his belt, trying to unbuckle it, but Fenrir caught her wrist, then added her other to it and pinned them both above her head.

“Hasty little goddess,” he chuckled, sliding his hand up her thigh and hooking her silk underwear with his fingers to move it aside. “Tsk! Didn’t I tell you that you didn’t need these anymore?”

“Why don’t you rip them off me, then?” she taunted, licking her lips, and he sucked in a sharp breath, knowing she was playing with him.

“All in due time, Menace,” he promised, drawing his finger across her lips to feel her wetness. She was so ready for him, so eager, but he wanted to see her scream first, so he drew a circle over her sensitive bud and watched her tremble.

“Fen—rir!” She already had trouble forming words. “I know, my love.” He offered a devilish smirk as he picked up speed, knowing exactly the kind of friction she loved. His goddess arched her back, and he inserted a digit in her, finding the little ridged spot inside that always brought her over the edge. On instinct, Astraea tried to squeeze her thighs back together, but he held her in place until a loud moan escaped his wife when pleasure rippled through her body in powerful waves.

She tried to catch her breath when he pulled her dress down and off her shoulders, returning his attention to her breasts. Fenrir tugged a hard n****e between his fingers while inhaling the other, her sweet scent enveloping him.

“Fenrir,” she called to him, and he stopped everything to lock eyes with her.

“Yes?”

“I love you so much!” Astraea confessed, eyes glistening with tears that she desperately tried to hold back. “If I ever had to lose you again, I wouldn’t be able to take it.”

“You will never know that loss again,” he promised. “Until the last star fades from the sky, you and I will hold our hands together in our glowing garden.”

She smiled, and he brushed his palm over her cheek.

“No more tears,” he gave her a light kiss. “Not when we got to have our happy ending.”

“Fine,” she smiled and pushed him off, taking him by surprise and straddling him before he had time to object. Her nimble fingers freed his co.ck, and she stroked his length up and down a few times until she lined it at her entrance.

“Menace,” Fenrir grunted, giving her all the control as she sunk onto him inch by inch. He grasped her waist to give her support and cupped one of her exposed breasts with his free hand.

Slowly, she rose again, torturing him, and then slammed back, eliciting a growl from him.

“Two can play this game,” she rose again, and this time, he grasped her bottom, pushing her down and meeting her movement with his hips. Astraea threw her head back, unable to suppress a moan.

“You are so right about that,” Fenrir grunted as they repeated it over and over.

She rode him slowly at first, breasts bouncing up and down, the light from the glowing plants around reflecting on her skin covered with beads of sweat. However, soon, he placed his large palms on her bottom, guiding her and rocking his hips to intensify their pleasure.

Astraea felt like she was soaring, so close to the edge she lost her rhythm, but Fenrir took it upon himself to continue the pace. He held her tight as he plunged into her again and again, her inner muscles clenching around him so tight he could only growl in response.

“Fenrir!” She exploded.

“Divine!” He snarled as he watched her come undone on top of him and stopped before he reached his peak, sitting up and still holding her in his arms as she needed rest. He was not done with her yet.

She draped her arms around him, trying to calm her racing heart as he drew soothing circles on her back.

“Why did you stop?” she asked, slightly confused. “I want to ask you something,” the wolf confessed. “What is it?” The Goddess of Stars furrowed her brows, gazing at him through her lashes.

“Do you remember—last time in the mortal realm—You wanted me to—”

He stopped talking. She ’d just blurted it out in the heat of the moment and never mentioned it again. Maybe she ’d changed her mind. The last thing he wanted was to push her into doing something she did not want.

“I asked you to mark me,” she nodded in understanding, her cheeks getting a more vibrant tint.

“If you’ve changed the way you feel about it,” he started, but she interjected.

“I didn’t. Fenrir—I wanted you to ask me, too.” Her confession made him the happiest man alive. As if it was possible to be happier.

“Astraea,” he straightened his back, trying to ignore the fact that he was still painfully hard and inside her clenching walls. “Would you—I want—I want to mark you. I want the whole world to see that you belong to me, but also—at the same time, I want you to mark me too, so that the whole world can see who claimed me.”

“I thought you’d never ask!” she giggled and moved her thighs, causing him to close his eyes from the pleasure. He dug his fingers into her hair, pulling it back and making her arch her back for him, allowing full access to her beautiful neck.

Carefully and slowly, he brushed his lips over her collarbone, tasting it as Astraea dug her nails into his flesh. He started moving his hips, slamming his c**k into her to the hilt. She moaned his name each time until she began screaming it, losing herself in all the sensations. They both were on the edge when he pierced her skin with his canines, unable to wait any longer. At the same time, she broke his skin with her nails, releasing her star magic inside. They both grunted, riding their release and allowing their marks to do their work.

Now Fenrir pounded into her as if there was no tomorrow, taking his pleasure as he watched another earth-shattering release cascade through his wife. His eyes shut close when he felt her center exploding and clenching around him so tight that his seed spilled inside to the last drop in just a few thrusts.

Astraea collapsed against his chest, and he slowly lay back on the grass, wrapping his arms around her, wishing to prolong this moment forever.

They stayed like this for quite some time, listening to each other’s heartbeats and inhaling their mixed scent. Until a soft glow made them both open their eyes.

Astraea felt her marking spot tingling and touched it with the tips of her fingers.

“What does it look like?” she asked.

They weren’t werewolves or Lycans, and now, only one of them was technically a wolf, so they marked each other with their divine powers, each choosing the shape and pattern for the other. “It’s a golden dragonfly surrounded by silver stars.” He kissed the still sore flesh and smiled at her. “The first dragonfly you had gave us this chance. I thought—you would like a reminder of it.”

“I love it!” She pulled him closer for a kiss and then told him, “

Yours is a black wolf covered in flames with a star on his forehead. I wasn’t sure about the star, but—”

“Are you kidding me?” he chuckled. “You could draw a whole constellation on me, and I would wear it with pride.”

He found her lips again, and they both forgot how to breathe as he rolled her back to the flowers and towered over her, finally ripping off her underwear and preparing for the next round. “Children, I hope you are decent,” Selene’s voice made Fenrir groan, his hands frozen somewhere in the middle of Astraea’s thigh under her dress.

“If we pretend, we didn’t hear her, she would walk away,” he locked eyes with his wife, who only giggled into the crook of his neck in response.

“It’s time! Everyone is waiting for you!” The Moon Goddess insisted.

“I think I liked it more when she wasn’t speaking to me,” the Wolf God grunted, rolling his eyes.

“Just remember, she is leaving after the coronation,” Astraea hissed, biting her lip and trying to hold back a laugh.

In the meantime, Selene grew impatient.

“The rituals won’t perform themselves, and without them, Asgard will never recognise you as their King and Queen. Now, you may have gotten away with your private wedding, but this—”

“We are done here, Mother,” Astraea walked out from behind thick bushes, glowing petals still entangled in her long hair and cheeks flushed. Fenrir followed her, shoving her torn lacy underwear into his pocket.

The Moon Goddess politely did not comment on any of that. “I am taking Astraea, and Magnus will help you prepare,” she informed them. “There is still so much to be done today.”

“Is there a need to separate us?” Fenrir’s jaw tightened. “It’s not like it’s a wedding, and I am not allowed to see the bride.”

“No, but you still have different things to prepare and trust me you can live a few hours without each other.”

“Debatable,” Fenrir grunted under his breath.

“I’ll see you soon,” Astraea stood on the tips of her toes and gave him a little kiss on the cheek. Two massive hands wrapped around her waist, pressing her against him as he covered her lips with his in a long, possessive kiss. Breaths mingled, fingers tangled in each other’s hair. They were ready to forget about the whole world.

Until Selene cleared her throat loudly, bringing them back to reality from their bliss.

“Just a couple of hours, and you can do whatever you want,” she insisted. “A few hours that would help you earn the respect of your people. Show them that not much is changing. Asgard is under new rulership, but they have nothing to fear.”

“We will think about it, won’t we?” Astraea lightly elbowed her husband.

“Sure,” Fenrir rolled his eyes, remembering how much he hated politics.

After a few more minutes of passionate goodbyes, the Moon

Goddess was finally able to drag her daughter away from her beloved.

“You two are like children with new toys,” she complained.

“We value every minute together,” Astraea corrected. “And fear spending any moment apart. We’ve lost too much time as it is.”

“I know, and I am so sorry for my part in it. I just hope to earn your forgiveness one day.”

“You are doing all the right things,” Astraea smiled. “It’s just_ it will not happen in one day. But we appreciate your help during the fight and now. I know you are trying, Mother.”

A shiver shot through Selene’s body. She didn’t think she would hear that word again, yet her daughter turned out to be kinder than she expected.

“I have something for you.” The Moon Goddess stretched her gloved hand out and produced a small shining ball of energy. “What is thi—” Astrea stopped talking because she recognised that aura. Her eyes darted back to her parent, and Selene’s lips curled slightly.

“It took me a while to get her out of the Source, but the fragments were still there. I pieced them back together, and although she will still need a few years of healing, she is alive.”

“Nova!” Astraea breathed out in relief, accepting the ball of magic.

Losing her wolf left a hollow in her soul, and she was so happy that she had something to fill it with.

Her wolf survived!

“Thankyou!” The Goddess of Stars threw herself into her mother’s arms, hugging her for the first time since… centuries ago. “Thank you so much for this!”

“Anytime, my sweet girl,” The Moon Goddess tried to blink away the tears that threatened to escape her, too afraid to ruin the moment.

Astraea knelt and added a speck of her divine power to the ball of energy, slowly adding more and more until a beautiful glowing wolf looked at her from the grass.

“Nova!” she beamed at her old friend, who recognised her immediately and jumped into her arms. The goddess tucked her face into the soft silver fur, still not quite believing that it was real. “In a decade or two, she will be ready to become someone’s wolf again,” Selene explained, “but for now, all she needs is your love and good care.”

“And she will always have both,” Astraea stroked her wolf’s head, trying to mind link her and only hearing silence in response.

Nova, do you hear me? She asked again and again.

The wolf tilted her head in response as if she didn’t understand what she was doing.

Nova? Astraea tried again, disappointed that their connection was lost.

“Don’t worry, my girl,” she hugged her wolf tighter, “you will stay with me, and I will take good care of you. Just like you did for me all these years. And when the time comes, I will pick the best human for you.”

I think I’ve earned the right to pick my human for myself. Fair and square, Nova’s sarcastic voice rang in her head.

Nova! Astraea was happy, angry and shocked at the same time. Don’t you ever do that!

Oh, come on! Her wolf chuckled. I wanted to see you cry for me. I earned that too, don’t you think?

You— She was about to scold her when love overwhelmed everything else, and she simply placed her forehead on her wolf’s, closing her eyes and enjoying the return of her closest friend. Welcome home, Nova!

“We need to go,” Selene urged them after a few minutes. “You still have a lot to prepare before the coronation.”

Astraea hated that their reunion was disrupted, but Nova spoke up in her mother’s defense.

Just so that you know, she risked her life getting me out, the wolf confessed. Do you see her wearing gloves now? It’s because her hands were badly burnt in the process. The scars will probably never heal because the Source itself gave them to her.

The Moon Goddess caught her gaze and placed her hands into the pockets of her long, modern gown.

“Thank you for this, Mother,” Astraea stood up and gave Selene another hug.

This time, it wasn’t rushed or due to heightened emotions. This time, it was a choice, and at first, the Moon Goddess was so shocked that she froze in her daughter’s embrace.

However, in just a few seconds, her arms wrapped tightly around the starry goddess’ frame.

“Of course,” Selene whispered. “I’ll do whatever you need to be happy.”
