The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame Chapter 115

The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame

Chapter 115 (Harper Alizah Grace’s POV)

The wedding ceremony and celebration ended a few days ago, nothing happened just like what I have dreamt. My half-brother, Troy and Samantha were having their honeymoon at the moment, while I, I was just staying inside the palace, thinking about some random things every single day.

I’m not still fine, who will after all the h*ardsh*ip I’ve been experienced? I guess it’s just okay to be not okay, I let out a deep sigh as I moved towards the terrace, the place where I can clearly see the sun setting down. A few minutes by now, the sun will be officially replaced by the moon.

Everyone in this place already knew about my existence as a tribrid, I didn’t expect them to accept me like this but I’m glad, I was beyond happy. I’m just a little hurt and disappointed because, I’m a half werewolf, my werewolf blood were dominance but… they abandoned me.

I supposedly don’t feel this way because in the first place, they don’t know, they don’t know about me being a tribrid. All they know, I was just a vampire. It’s getting complicated, and I’m even starting to ask myself if I’m the wrong one or them?

This is not the life I dream to have, but I guess, I need to bare with this. Taking a deep sigh, I closed my eyes and feel the wind t*ouching my skin. The cold breeze were making my knees tremble, but it’s just okay, it is nothing to my heart which is slowly turning into an ice.

As the days go on, I’m slowly losing my emotion. Like I’m void to anything, I don’t even know what I really feel. I opened my eyes when I heard a noise near me, in front of me I saw a bird having a rolled letter on its neck, a message perhaps?

I look on the bird’s eyes, it is looking back as if it was telling me to take off the letter out of it’s neck. So, I carefully took it off and gave the bird a faint smile before he flew away. I opened the letter to see it was from

Amanda, she wrote a letter for me.

“My dear best friend, Harper. I’m afraid of your safety now, the king went home fuming mad and seems so very upset. He was cursing you and the whole vampire clan to death. I don’t know exactly what happened but I think he was indeed planning to have a big war. And into his accusation about you being a spy, I think he was wrong so I talked back. I unexpectedly said about me knowing your true identity, he went crazy. He made me chose, to leave or to die…

I stopped reading. My jaw clenched as my gripped tightened on the paper.

“I can’t bare to die because I’m pregnant and have a son, I have my family. I choose to leave permanently the kingdom, My husband chose to lose his position than to lose us, so he leave with us. I’m hurt and very upset, I’m so sad for my husband. He dreamed to be the beta since he was a child but he just lose it in just a blink of an eye. I’m not blaming you, rest assured with that. If I’ll be given the chance to do what I did in the past, I will do it, just to help you.” I bite my inner l*ips, I’m speechless, even if she’s not blaming me, I’m still the reason why they got exiled.

“But that’s not the reason why I wrote this letter, I wanted to see you for the last time. I know it will be h*ard for you come here, but I’m hoping so. Let’s meet two am on Sunday, where? the place where we first met. I hope I’ll see you there. Love, Amanda.” I put down the letter and sigh.

Today is Saturday, I should go. I wanted to see her too. It’s not that h*ard for me to sneak in to the werewolves territory because I have a werewolf scent, I just need to mask the others for them not get alarm. So… I need to leave here for the mean time. I went back inside my room and get ready my things.

I just get a pair of clothes, a few foods and water, then I get my hoody jacket out of my closet and wore it. I went out my room and walk towards my step-brother’s office, the vampire king. I knocked on the door two three times, “Come in.” I opened the door and get inside. I saw him sitting down on his swivel chair while giving me a meaningful look.

“I’m leaving,” he nodded and sign me to continue. “I don’t know when I’ll be back,” He nodded once again. “I know that you can take care yourself, Harper. Go ahead, go wherever you want to go, you sacrifices enough for our sake so I don’t have the right to stop you. But be safe okay?” This time, I’m the one who nodded.

“Alright, I’ll take my leave then.” I bowed slightly before walking away. I walked towards the woods and run faster using my vampire speed. When I will reach the boarder of the werewolf territory, I will switch into my werewolf form for them not to notice me. It will be a problem if someone can recognize me. If possible, I just wanted to see Amanda.

A few hours had been passed, I reached the placed where the first time we met. It’s still the same, beautiful and relaxing. Since, It’s one in the morning, there are only a few persons roaming around the area.

A small smile crept into my l*ips as I remember the past. We are still a kid back then, when Amanda already a bubbly and cheerful person, and I… a girl who doesn’t trust nor talk to anyone. A complete loner, a nobody. I took a deep breath and shook off those happy thoughts in my mind. I should focus, I need to be more careful. I fixed the hood of my jacked and started walking again. I walked towards the place we love to go, the place where we watched the fireworks together.

I expected her to be there but she’s nowhere to be seen. Maybe she’s coming here. I know Amanda well, she’s the person I trusted the most. I walked closer the chair and sat down. I let out a sigh, I’m sad, exhausted and I’m… I’m afraid.

I don’t really want what’s happening right now, I wanted to cry, to scream at the top of my lungs until I let go my feelings but I can’t. I just can’t, myself won’t even allow me to do so. I look up the sky, I don’t know but what I can see is him, his memories with me.

No Harper, forget it, he’s not worth it. He choose to turn his back on you, leave you alone on the place without saying anything. He did that to have revenge on you, so move on. If he can’t accept whoever you are, and just easy to let you go, why should stay? why should I push myself into someone who doesn’t even want me?

“Harper?” I quickly turned back when I heard that voice. She’s here, Amanda is here now. A smile formed into my l*ips as I stood up in to the chair and walk towards her direction.

She’s smiling but there’s something off with her smile but I choose to ignore it, maybe she’s just tired or something else.

The first thing she did was to hug me, so tightly. “Are you alright, Am?” I asked her while tapping her back. Allowing her to hug me even more.

“I’m so sorry, Harp… I hope you will forgive me,” She started to cry h*ard, I can barely understand what she was saying.

“What do you mean?” I asked in confusion. But before she can say something, a bunch of warriors surrounded us.

One word came out in my mouth, “Shit!” This is a trapped. My eyes widened as I look on Amanda shocked. I can’t believe she actually let this happen, I take a step back.

“It’s not what you think, Harper.” She almost beg. No, from what I see right now… she… she betrayed me. She knew that I needed not to be seen.

“Harper pie…” I raised my one hand. I don’t want to hear anything now, not even from her. I closed my eyes tightly when I felt a familiar aura. He’s here now, he’s coming with… with Keriza. I closed my fist tightly and gritted my teeth.

“Harper listen to me, I…” I look at her and smile. “Enough Am, at least we see each other for the last time.” She cried even more. I won’t fight back, I won’t waste my energy this time. Because I know, even if I’ll try to escape, I can’t.

He’s here, the Alpha king. He’s not the alpha king for nothing. I might be a tribrid, the l*egend they were saying, I’m not enough to defeat them all.

“Harp…” I shut her off again.

“Just fine.” As I said that, I move towards their direction and just stop when I’m a few meters away from them. I slowly remove the hood of my jacket, revealing my silver like hair. Since I let my true identity out, my appearance also change. This is the true me.

“Well, we see each other again. Mate…” I stop and look on Keriza who’s grinning widely, but annoyance can be seen in her face. I smirked, “And Keriza.”
