The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame Chapter 163

The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame

Chapter 163 (Harper’s Alizah Grace’s POV)

As I looked down, a tear escaped from my eyes. I remember the war that happened long ago. It is still fresh in my mind as if it was happed just yesterday.

I bit my inner l*ip and sighed, “I love you, always…” I whispered before turning around. I spotted Amanda waiting for me beside her car. Her eyes hold sadness. That makes me sad even more.

I nodded at her, and she nodded back. After that, we both got inside the car and headed back to the palace. I saw my brother with his wife and son at the grand entrance. They wore happy expressions and seemingly waiting for my arrival.

When my brother saw me, he greeted me warmly with a hug and asked, “How are you, Harper? It’s been a long time.”

“It’s been a while, brother,” I said, looking at the young man beside him. The smile on my l*ips widened; he’s a grown man now. I gently caressed his hair, “How are you, young man?” I asked him.

He beamed with a broad smile and said, “I’m good, Aunty. How about you? You seem sad. Aren’t you supposed to be happy right now?” He asked innocently.

“I’m feeling happy at the moment, well, maybe just a little sad, but overall, I’m happy. Please, don’t worry about me, okay?” He nodded in response.

I looked at my brother again and asked, “Is everyone inside?” He nodded. “Yes, they’ve been waiting for you. Lincoln is also eager to see you,” he replied. I’m glad to hear that. I tapped his shoulder and asked, “Shall we go then?”

Upon entering, I noticed Lincoln running in my direction. He hugged me tightly around my hips, exclaiming, “Mother! I’ve been waiting for you. Where did you go? Why did you leave me here?” Oh… my baby is throwing a tantrum now.

I playfully messed up his hair, “Come on, young man. I was only gone for about an hour, and you already miss me that much?” I teased him. He crossed his arm on his chest and replied, “I know. But it felt like an eternity,” I chuckled in response.

“I miss you as well. Don’t be grumpy now, your mother is here. I will be here for you when you need me, but for now, go look for Matthew and Phobie’s whereabouts and play with them,” I instructed him.

He stood straight and saluted, “Okay, Mom! I’ll see you later,” I nodded and watched him run off. “I’ll go ahead now and look for my husband. I’ll see you around, Harp,” I heard Amanda say.

“Sure, see yah, Am,” She bowed and took her leave. I let out a sigh as I closed my eyes. Five years have passed, and the werewolves and vampires are no longer enemies.

The werewolf kingdom serves as the central hub for the three domains, where witches, wizards and vampires can be seen walking freely.

Finally, we achieve peace and freedom. I was slightly off guard when someone suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. Upon recognising his scent, I already knew who it was. A smile formed on my l*ips as I gazed at him.

“Hey there,” I greeted him softly. The edge of his l*ips rose as he brushed his l*ips against my cheeks. “I miss you,” he whispered huskily.

I playfully punched his shoulder and remarked, “You just saw me this morning, yet you miss me too. There’s no doubt that Lincoln is your son.” I chuckled, and he laughed along. “Well, he’s mine. I’m glad he got my personality,” he proudly replied.

Five years ago, he didn’t die. Even though he didn’t want me to use my power, I still did. I couldn’t bear the thought of letting him die. It would have been the biggest mistake of my life if I had allowed that to happen.

“Anway, where is my little alpha?” He asked me. I looked at him; joy could be seen in his eyes. “I told him to go and find Matthew and Phobie to play with them,” I replied. He nodded his head, “I see. You visited your father’s grave?”

“Yes, I did.” Almost twenty-five years since he died, I still miss him a lot. I wish he and Mom were still here with me. He hugged me on my back.

“I’m sure he’s proud of you now,” he whispered in my ear, gently tapping my back. Then his hand slowly moved down my stomach. He carefully caressed it, “I can’t wait to see our second child,” he murmured.

I held his hand on my tummy and smiled widely. “I can’t wait either,” I said excitedly. Lincoln is turning four

now, while I’m in my third semester of pregnancy. Lincoln inherits his father’s blood, being a pure-blooded werewolf. He’s destined to become the next alpha king of this kingdom.

“What will her name will be?” He asked. I bit my inner l*ip, thinking deeply. Though I’m not sure yet, but I have something in my mind.

“Natasha,” I replied. “Natasha,” he repeated. I nodded, “Beautiful name, isn’t it?”

“Yes. I love it. She will be Natasha Shaneen Montegromery,” He added Shaneen to her name. I like it.

I held his cheeks gently, “Her name will be Natasha Shaneen, our daughter.” He nodded, snaked his hand around my waist, and pulled me closer. “She will be beautiful as you,” just as he was about to k*iss me, I felt a sudden pain. When I looked down, I realised my water had broken.

“I think she’s coming out,” His eyes widened in panic. “Go, look for my aunt’s whereabouts. She’ll help me,” I bit my l*ip after saying that. The pain is getting worse. He stared at me, not knowing what to know. Seriously, Zach?

I punched his shoulder, “Go now!” I yelled. “Oh yeah, hold on. I’ll find her quick!” He vanished in front of me. When he was gone, I saw Lisa, my brother and Amanda running in my direction. They helped me to stand up and brought me to our room.

“You did well, harper!” Aunt Louisa exclaimed happily. A sigh of relief escaped from my l*ips when I heard my daughter’s first cry. I was overjoyed that she was safe and healthy.

“And…” Aunt Louisa trailed off. And what? I looked at her. I saw the shock in her eyes. “What? Is there any problem with our daughter?” Zachary asked him worriedly. Aunt Louisa shook her head, “No, nothing but…” “But?” we all asked. She looked up and showed our daughter to everyone. Her eyes change its colour from natural grey to red, then red to violet, and finally from violet to shimmering golden yellow. It’s hard to believe, but…

“She’s like you, Harper. She’s also a tribrid.”
