The Alpha’s Exclusive Stripper by Selena Madrid
Chapter 10
“SCOTT and his friends seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. They are presumed dead. Their links are gone. Completely. His beta insisted that his alpha received a call from the crown prince last night. People in the community had a hunch that Alpha Trevor may be connected with the disappearance of seven high-ranking wolves but they were too afraid to voice it out. No one is coming out to point f*ingers at him. Their packs are all quiet which was no surprise really. One of the perks of being Trevor freaking Rodrigo. He is the law himself,” Spencer muttered.
I did hear that some people in the kingdom were more terrified of Trevor than of his uncle, the current Alpha King. He was that vicious. Only those with lunas can sit on the iron throne and since he didn’t have one when his father died, the throne was given to Nickolas, the King’s only brother with the elderly’s notion that as a married ruler, he could stabilize the kingdom.
Unfortunately for Nickolas, he had four daughters and no son which still made Trevor the crown prince since none of his daughters’ fated bonds could outshine Trevor.
As for Scott, he was the reason why Spencer had to double the security in Oblivion. He and his friends who were as arrogant as him were not the first group of men who had offered indecent proposals to me but they were definitely the most extreme so far.

I fought the mixture of anger and helplessness boiling inside me when I remembered the time they ignored the security and dragged me away from the stage during one of my performances to take me with them but the men from the Order arrived, thanks to Spencer who called them swiftly. Scott and his circle of friends were now banned from stepping in Oblivion and from approaching me.
But none of the alphas showed signs of remorse and shame. None of them had also allowed me to forget their existence. They still send flowers in the club every night along with their indecent notes.
The Order maintained the peace between the four kingdoms. They represent the mages, vampires, werewolves, and humans. And the moment they feel that the peace is being threatened, they send their men to enforce the law.
“And then there’s Addison’s case. The Crimson Moon pack investigated the case and punished the men who wanted to hurt you both. That act itself spoke volumes, Priscilla. Don’t look at me like that. I assure you. Alpha Trevor may be a lot of things but he certainly does not have a hero complex. He never gave a s*hit to anyone before. Even to nobles.”
“That’s still ridiculous, Spencer,” I said in a wry voice.
An alpha burning the world for a mere omega? The world would end before that even happens. Trevor may not know my identity yet. For him and everyone else, I was a human. But even without the mark on my back, I was still not suited with a man like him. I knew better than to make useless romantic assumptions. I was no Cinderella. And he was certainly no prince charming.
Trevor was a royal beast and I was a slave. Nothing good can come out from our story.
The omega in me must have enticed the wolf in him. That was normal. All male shifters were like that. They wanted to subdue every omega they met. But after they were done with us, we would be discarded. Worse, we would die.
Maybe I didn’t have to worry about being with Trevor for a long time. He would get bored of me soon enough. I just had to pray that he wouldn’t shoot me dead once his boredom strikes.
“Alpha Trevor could have another reason,” I added. “Don’t think too much into it. If it was really him who dealt with Scott and the others, then they may have done something else to piss him off. As for my aunt’s perpetrators, they were still wolves. Of course, he would want to take them out before the Order can sniff this problem to avoid future complications in the wolf kingdom.”
Trevor’s gaze landed on me while he was still talking to the doctor and then at Spencer who was still standing beside me. A scowl crossed his face. I straightened my back after he ended his conversation with the doctor. He walked towards our direction.
Trevor had removed his tie. His sleeves were now rolled up. I saw how he effortlessly took the women’s breath away with his every step as if he was on a runway. He looked so certain, so dependable, so… masculine. He was making it h*ard for other people to focus on anything but him. Even me.
Spencer was still saying something but I couldn’t hear him now. I was distracted by the loud thumping inside my c*hest. What was this feeling?
The women’s envious eyes shifted to me when Trevor stopped beside me.
If only they knew.
Nothing about this man was a dream. He was a nightmare wrapped in a very fancy package just like all the wolves in the kingdom. The women wouldn’t know what hit them until they were devoured.
“Come here, Priscilla.”
Trevor reached out his h*and to me.
His wolf was furious. I could sense it. That’s why I immediately accepted his h*and. He pulled me away from Spencer and put me behind him as if he was shielding me from my very own boss.
There was a dark warning in his tone when he flicked his gaze to Spencer and said, “At least a meter away, Spencer. Don’t make me see you standing close to Priscilla next time.”
It only took Spencer one look at Trevor’s face before he stepped away and made sure he was a meter away from us before stopping.
“Calm down, Alpha. I am not the enemy here.”
“You will be if you forget your boundaries.”
“I won’t.” Spencer just shook his head in resignation before glancing at me. “I will see you in Oblivion tonight, Priscilla.”
Trevor answered for me. “She won’t be going to your club tonight.”
My boss’ jaw t*ightened. “I don’t care whatever business you have with Priscilla. But I am still her superior. You can’t mess with her schedule just because you feel like doing it. When it comes to Oblivion, I make the rules, alpha.”
Trevor’s voice was low, dark, and deadly when he spoke, “You are not in Oblivion right now. You are standing in my very building. If you have problems regarding what I said, you can talk to my pack about it.”
That was a clear dismissal.
Trevor gave my h*and a t*ight squeeze before pulling me away from Spencer. When my boss wanted to talk, some of Trevor’s pack members appeared, blocking him. For a moment, I was nervous that a fight might break out just outside my aunt’s room. Anger radiated off Spencer’s b*ody. His l*ips thinned and his h*ands clenched as he stared at the alpha.
But in the end, he turned the other way.
Because like he said last night, no one messes with the gods and survives it.
Trevor led me to the elevator where his beta was already waiting. I was not aware that the Rodrigos owned this hospital. So, that was why the staff were like that
earlier. They must have known that their alpha was doing a major ‘cleanup’ on the rooftop when they heard the gunfire.
The three of us were quiet until we reached the rooftop. When I attempted to free my h*and from the alpha’s grip, he turned to me.
“I’m sorry. I just remembered that I haven’t paid aunt’s bill yet and-”
“You don’t have to worry about it, Miss Priscilla. We had already taken care of it,” Dean interjected.
My eyes went round. I’d been calculating the possible bill in my head and the terrible damage it could leave to my bank account but after hearing that, I felt relieved. “I… see. Thank you very much.”
He nodded.
“Please wait here. The helicopter will arrive shortly.”
He lowered his head and bid his alpha goodbye. When he left, I glanced at Trevor who hasn’t released my h*and yet. I cleared my throat. “Thank you for everything, alpha. For what you did to my aunt and for catching the culprits behind her accident.”
“It’s nothing. I’ve talked to Addison’s doctor. She’s fine now and she could be discharged today. I will leave my trusted warrior to stick around her to make sure that this doesn’t happen anymore.”
That was another thing to be thankful for. With Trevor’s warrior around my aunt, I felt the heavy load in my c*hest being lifted off at the thought that she would be protected wherever she goes now.
My debts had been piling.
Thinking about the day he would collect the payment had made me shiver.
“Again, thank you so much for doing that for my aunt. We had already taken too much of your time, alpha. I know you are a very busy man. I can go home by myself now.”
Trevor tilted his face to meet my eyes. “You won’t be going home, Priscilla. Not today. Not anymore.”
