The Alpha’s Exclusive Stripper by Selena Madrid
Chapter 11
I FOUND the reason why when I insisted on coming to my unit. I was fully-awake when we rode the helicopter but I didn’t get to enjoy the ride back after Trevor told me that somebody had gotten inside my unit while I was away.
True enough, the door was slightly open.
But nothing could have prepared me for what I saw when I pushed the door open.
My blood chilled in my veins at the sight that greeted me. Whoever did this was a psycho.

There were red petals and dead birds everywhere.
“Someone tampered with the CCTV footage in this building. I sent some of my men to keep searching for the culprit. This is the reason why I didn’t want you here anymore, Priscilla,” Trevor said, his expression was blank but the wrath in his voice was impossible not to notice. His beta was standing by the door while his pack was on the hallway, alert and ready for possible threats.
On the couch, on the dining table, and even on my bed, there were petals and birds. Their feathers were spread all over the room. And on the wall in my bedroom, there were words written using their blood.
YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE THAT, BUTTERFLY. YOU ARE MINE. JUST MINE.
The stalker must have seen me with Trevor and now he was retaliating as if it was my fault that I was with him.
My stomach churned. I ran to the bathroom, to the only place where there were no dead birds. Trevor followed me inside and held my hair while I was throwing up. He grabbed a roll of tissue paper and h*anded it to me after I was done.
I wiped my m*outh and flushed the toilet. When he saw me brushing my teeth, he left the bathroom and when he came back, he was holding a bottle of water. He gave it to me and when he saw my h*and trembled, he tucked me to his arms as if that was where I belonged. Beside him.
I felt a deep sense of relief that settled over my soul upon hearing his steady heartbeat, upon knowing that I was not alone to h*andle all of this madness.
He was with me. It didn’t matter what the reason was. I just knew I couldn’t do this alone or else, I would go crazy.
“Take whatever you need and then we will go. I’m taking you to my house,” he commanded in a soft voice when I was calmed enough.
I nodded and emptied the water bottle before I grabbed a bag from the drawers in my room. All of my undergarments were missing. I heard Trevor cuss in a low voice behind me while I took my clothes. I didn’t have plenty since I was always on the run. That’s why it was easier to pack.
I tried not to break when I saw my unit in chaos. I tried to keep myself steady even when I wanted to run when I saw the message the stalker had left me or even when he stole my undergarments. But when I saw the missing picture frames on my bedside table, my eyes began to water.
Those pictures were my most important possessions. They were pictures of Addison, me, and Trent. I knew it was silly but those were what kept me going when life gets so difficult that I wanted to just give up and die.
And now, they are gone.
“I will find him, whoever he is. And I will bring his head on a silver platter,” Trevor said with a quite promise in his voice. And when I didn’t respond, he asked, “Are you ready to go?”
I wiped my tears with the back of my h*ands and nodded. I didn’t want to stay another minute more in this place. But I couldn’t say that. I was not ready to speak. I was sure that my voice would only break if I did.
The alpha took my bag and h*anded it to his beta before he held my h*and in a firm but gentle grip. And then we stepped out of the place I had considered my home for the past few months. He walked slowly so I could keep up with his pace.
There were three cars waiting outside the building. Trevor led me to his navy-blue sports car. He opened the passenger seat for me before he went to the other side and sat in the driver’s seat. His warriors all headed in the remaining cars behind us. They followed us when the alpha started driving.
I stared out the window and just when I thought I was done crying, my tears began leaking again. The recent events had drained the life out of me. Each time I would close my eyes, I’d see the pile of dead birds in my head. My stomach recoiled once more.
The birds didn’t deserve that.
I didn’t deserve this either.
I felt like the whole world was ganging up on me. I may be in another realm now but I still couldn’t escape from my nightmares.
Trevor didn’t say anything during the ride but I felt his h*and grab mine. He gave it a light squeeze while he was driving.
“How did you know that something happened to my unit?” I asked in a hoarse voice.
“You belong to me, Priscilla. And I protect what is mine,” Trevor answered without looking at me. “It’s only right that I would know everything about you to keep you safe.”
I didn’t know how to answer that since I didn’t know if I would really be safe beside him.
I was not sure how many hours had passed but the road we were taking now was covered by countless trees. It was past noon when the car stopped. The guards rushed to open the tall iron gates. Trevor started driving again.
It took us about fifteen minutes before we were able to get in front of the mansion, the biggest and the most beautiful I had ever seen. It was where I imagined Trevor would live. It was a picture of class and elegance with its intricate designs, manicured gardens, and a massive entryway. The mansion was just like him. Huge. Sophisticated. And very intimidating.
I could see the breathtaking hills behind the mansion. Everything was beyond lovely.
But I couldn’t ignore the voice inside my head, it was screaming, telling me that I don’t belong here but where exactly do I belong? Was there even a place for the likes of me somewhere in this world?
Dean opened the car door for me. I took a deep breath before I stepped outside and that was when I saw them, Trevor’s pack members. They lined up at the front door.
And they were all watching me like predators watching a lamb.
