The Alpha’s Exclusive Stripper by Selena Madrid
Chapter 25
THE SOUND from the alarm clock woke me up. Last night, I set it thirty minutes before six in the morning. It was Monday today and I didn’t want to be late for the morning training.
The sixty-minute morning run with the alpha and his pack from Monday to Friday was included in my daily schedule. I quickly washed up, brushed my teeth, and put on a white tank top and gray sweatp*ants. I tied my hair in a bun and brought a towel before I went to the ground floor through the elevator.
I headed to the kitchen first to get myself a bottled water.
“Good morning,” I greeted Chef Dane who was already preparing the breakfast. He smiled and motioned the chocolate chip banana bread on the table while he was chopping ingredients. I grabbed one. This had been my favorite since the first time I tasted it.

“This is really good,” I said after having a bite. “Thank you, Chef.”
He nodded and blushed. Even his ears were all red now and I bit my lower l*ip to stop myself from smiling. I hadn’t heard him utter a word since I started living here but there was a welcoming atmosphere around him. I figured that since I would be with the pack for the time being, a little friendliness would go a long way.
And if they could throw any useful information one of these days, that would really help.
Mariz looked surprised when I caught her in the front door. She was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and p*ants with a towel on her shoulder.
“You’re early,” she greeted. “It’s still fifteen minutes before six. I thought I would need to wake you up and remind you about today. I’m impressed, Priscilla.”
“Good morning to you too, Mariz,” I replied, smiling. “I take my duties seriously.”
She smiled. “I can see that now. Are you ready?”
“Yes.”
The first time I read about the morning run with the wolves every six in the morning and the daily training at five in the afternoon, I admit I panicked. I freaked out. But yesterday, as I went through the schedule with a clearer head, I started to feel a little better about it. I started to see Trevor’s point for planning this for me.
The morning run would improve my stamina and the training would help me to at least put up a fight in dangerous situations especially on campus. Besides, it was not like I had a choice. After the momentary grief about my situation, after the denial, came the acceptance.
And now here I am.
Mariz told me over dinner yesterday that Madison and the wolves who shifted in front of me last Friday to threaten me had already been taken care of. I didn’t ask about the details or the process. The less I know about those things, the better for me and for my mental health. I just know that whatever happened to Madison and her squad, they deserved it.
I swallowed when I finally saw the men of the pack. All of them were… topless, revealing their bronze skin and their bodies that male humans would die for. Their muscles flexed with their every movement.
If the dancers in Oblivion would see this, they would have a field day. I suddenly remembered that one of them was able to acquire a photo of Crimson Moon pack’s training. It was a stolen shot. She said it was posted on social media and she had it printed. The girls went wild after seeing the photo.
The next day, all of them had that same photo as their background photo on their phones. That was how popular Trevor’s pack was. The women literally go crazy over them, especially over their alpha.
The men in the photo had been the talk of every woman back then. They would do anything to have a front row seat as the pack trained.
And I’d been provided that. A front row seat.
I scooted forward to Mariz and whispered, “Is that how they normally do their morning run?”
“Female humans and shifters go gaga over it. Don’t you like the muscle display?”
I shrugged. “It’s fine.”
“Just fine? Really?” She raised her brow. “They are like this only when they are trying to impress someone.”
“Who? Their alpha? Why?” When she didn’t answer right away, I added, “So, just like the female humans, does this mean that Trevor likes the muscle display too? Should I… gain some muscles too?”
I glanced at my arms. If I become buff, would I be able to gain some brownie points?
“What?” Mariz’s eyes widened. She was now laughing so h*ard when she turned to me. She cupped my cheeks. “Sweetheart, you are too innocent for your own good! You just humiliated the men of this pack. And you were not even aware of it.”
“Why?” My brows knitted. “What did I do?”
When I turned at the men, they were now putting their shirts on. Some were shaking their heads while the others were scratching their napes. Just like Chef Dane earlier, their ears were red.
All of a sudden, Trevor’s voice boomed in the lawn.
“From now on, anyone who refuses to wear proper attire during the morning jog would run thirty more laps!” Trevor’s eyes settled on me. “And no, kitten. I don’t like their muscles, damn it. I can’t believe how you came up with that horrendous idea. You don’t have to gain muscles. You are… good just the way you are.”
“Oh.” Heat flooded my cheeks. “Thank you, alpha.”
Mariz giggled along with the four women who just arrived. Mariz, Olga, Giselle, Darlene, and Sadie were the only female betas in the pack. We were introduced yesterday during lunch. And they already had their partners.
“The alpha is fl*ustered,” Sadie commented. “It’s the first time I’ve seen him like this.”
“It’s not just him, though. The entire pack,” Olga added.
“Our Priscilla here just crushed their massive ego,” Darlene chimed in.
The five women all turned to me and raised their right thumbs.
I frowned. “You all say that but I don’t even know what I did.”
“Just know that you did good, baby,” Giselle answered, grinning.
Mariz laughed again. “Isn’t she adorable?”
Still amused, the women nodded.
Dean, who was in his wolf form, howled. It must have been a signal because they started the run. And I followed along. We ran to the woods which were located at the back part of the mansion.
As expected, I was falling behind although I could see that they were trying to slow down for my sake. Fifteen minutes later and I was p*anting and sweating profusely and yet, all of them still looked very composed. None of them seemed tired. It was just me.
To my surprise, Trevor ran beside me.
“Are you okay?”
I nodded. After that morning in my room when he told me not to expect any deep feelings from him, he didn’t show his face to me again. He didn’t join me for meals even if he was in the mansion the entire weekend.
I know that love was off the table from the moment we sealed the contract. I didn’t even think I would be hearing that word from him. Love was for humans. I was aware of that at least. But when I heard that from him, for some reason, a part of me was still hurt.
And yet, just like today, my b*ody still gravitates towards him.
Trevor cleared his throat. “I did a lot of thinking and I realized that I shouldn’t have said those words that day, Priscilla. l-”
“It’s okay. I understand, alpha. You don’t have to explain.” I sighed. “I will not expect anything from you. Rest assured, I am never going to fall in love with you.”
