The Alpha’s Exclusive Stripper by Selena Madrid
Chapter 90 (Jeremy)
“YOUR MAJESTY, the princess is here with us right now. She is currently insisting that we open the gates. She also wishes to talk to you.”
I glanced at the window and saw my daughter’s car near the gate. She was arguing with the guards.
“No, Spencer. Do not open the gates no matter what. Tell her that if she still insists, she will be breaking the castle codes and she will be banned from leaving her quarters.”
“You are my friend, Jeremy. So let me say this to you now. You are breaking your daughter’s heart. You and I know that their bond cannot be stopped anymore. The bond has been cut but they rebuilt it. And just made it stronger.”

“I would rather have her heart broken than see her lose her life, Spencer.”
My jaw clenched. I ended the call and closed the window as Lisandro’s words rang in my head. He was the kingdom’s royal mage who predicted that one day, I would meet a woman that would turn my whole life around.
Her name would be Calliope.
His next prediction was about us having a daughter.
All of his predictions came true. Including being a tribrid’s mate and being separated from my family. And just yesterday, after seeing my daughter in person, he had another prediction.
‘Blood and death. At the moment, those are the only things I could see waiting for your daughter if she were to pursue her relationship with the alpha king.’
When I sent the Phoenix to Trevor’s doorstep, when I decided to open our borders for him, I didn’t know about the prediction yet.
All I knew was the d*esire to put a smile on my daughter’s face. I was determined to break a few rules to keep seeing that smile. But that changed with that prediction.
I knew Priscilla was supposed to meet Trevor tonight.
I sat on my swivel chair and stared at my wife’s picture on my desk. When I heard we were having a daughter, I was the happiest. I was so eager to become a father without knowing that it was one of the most challenging roles a man could ever have.
My phone rang for the second time. I didn’t let my daughter in so I knew right away that it was her.
I debated answering the phone but, in the end, I gave in.
I wanted to hear her voice.
“I told you about Lisandro’s prediction, Priscilla,” I said as soon as I answered her call. “You can’t meet him. I’m doing this for you. When you become a mother, you will understand.”
“Back then, if you were given the same prediction by the royal mage, if you were told that only blood and death awaits you if you continue your relationship with my mother, will that stop you from seeing her, dad?”
I caressed Calliope’s photo. At times like this, I wished our daughter was not as smart and as brave as her. “No.”
I could do everything. But being without Calliope at that time was not on the list.
I could imagine my princess smiling on the other line.
“See?” When I didn’t answer, she added, “I know that Lisandro is your friend, dad. But don’t you think his prediction is a little generic? Blood and death… aren’t that always the case for the supernaturals? How many times did you think I’ve dealt with blood and had been in near death experiences before I was found? It’s the same for you and mom. There are constant wars. Our positions are often challenged. That’s why we fight all the time. We take risks every time.”
“Trevor is a different kind of risk, Priscilla”
“I was sure he had been warned by his pack about me being a different kind of risk, too. Still, he pushed being a hybrid even if it would cost him a lot. Let me try doing the same. Let me try being a little braver, dad.”
“I’ve just found you. I can’t lose you again.”
“You won’t lose me. I won’t let that happen. I love you, dad,” she said softly. “And I do respect you and the rules here that’s why I’m not forcing my way out even if I can. I will be waiting until the gates open.”
I hung up when I felt a certain presence in my office. When I blinked, he was already there. Standing in the middle of my office as if he had every right to be here.
He lowered his head. “Greetings, your majesty.”
“Get out.”
“Don’t look at me like that, your majesty. I would have used the proper way to communicate with you if you didn’t close the gates and if your secretary didn’t reject my calls,” Trevor said calmly.
I really wished he could stop reminding me about myself.
Even if he was a king himself, Trevor Rodrigo had stripped his title in my domain and only acknowledged one king here.
Me.
He was stronger than the council and he knew that. He was a VIP guest and would have been treated as royalty but instead, he allowed others to only call him by his name. He never used his strength to disrespect us.
Except for tonight.
And that public display of affection the other day.
Come to think of it. Those were two major offenses already. I should be kicking his a*ss by now.
My eyes narrowed. “What are you doing here, Rodrigo?”
“You knew that the only reason I am in this realm is because of your daughter. Why would you open the borders for me if you were not going to allow me to see her?”
I stood up and was in front of him in an instant. I grabbed his collar. “I am only protecting Priscilla! She is my daughter!”
“And she is my queen! Do you think I cannot protect her? I will lay down my life for her if I have to!”
“How can you do that when you are only visiting? How can you make her happy if you are in another kingdom?”
That was a discussion meant for another day. After I had seen how this man had changed himself only to meet my daughter halfway, I knew he would find a solution for this since it would be the first question the council would throw his way once the battle against the Order is over.
But I needed his words right now.
I needed his assurance.
I needed to know that I am not making another mistake.
“Then please stay back and watch me do that. Watch me protect her. Watch me love her. Watch me make her happy. Watch me do the impossible.”
I looked him in the eye. I know that look.
I had been in the same position before. I had been warned before. If I listened to them, I wouldn’t have known the joys of being a married man and Priscilla would have been somebody else’s daughter.
Slowly, I released his collar.
“If something were to happen to my daughter while she is with you, remember this, Rodrigo. I will kill you, your pack, and everyone in your kingdom.”
“If something were to happen to her, I’m afraid you wouldn’t get to do all that anymore, your majesty. I would have burned the world by then” He lowered his head once more before disappearing.
I found myself cussing before I grabbed my phone. I looked at the window for the second time tonight. My daughter’s car was still near the gate.
She was looking at my office. When she caught me watching through the window, her eyes shone. She waved her h*and and smiled.
This must be how every father feels each time they see their daughters’ smiles.
Defeated.
Still, I found myself finally returning her smile as I dialed Spencer’s number. “Open the gates.”
(Trevor)
‘TO THE FUTURE ME, I want you to find her. Keep her. Protect her. When you see her, you will know why. Everything must be chaotic for you right now. That’s not new to us anymore. Chaos and darkness, we are used to them. We lived through them. That’s why you may not believe me when I say that the world lights up but it does, Trevor. It lights up when she smiles. You should see her smile.’
I may be the one who wrote those letters but it didn’t mean I believed them a hundred percent. I could be drunk or under a nasty spell when I wrote all that s*hit.
The version of me who wrote that seemed to see the world in new lenses after meeting a certain woman. But I know myself. There was no way I would write to the future me with a logical mind. I would not suddenly turn poetic over a woman.
I was only here to find a cure for this strange pain in my c*hest.
And I believed Priscilla had that cure.
I opened the door that would lead me to the rooftop of the Carlton Hotel where we were supposed to meet.
There she was. In an emerald dress that matched the color of her eyes. The fabric barely reached her knees. The goddamn wind was flirting with her long, silver hair.
Priscilla turned around when she sensed my presence.
And once again, she gave me that smile. Her eyes were smiling along with her naturally pinkish l*ips.
“Trevor,’’ she breathed out. “Hi.”
I couldn’t speak. I had to pause for a while to just stare at her. The damn notes never mentioned my heart racing.
And the f*ucking thing inside me was racing right now.
‘You should hear her laugh. Your c*hest will expand with happiness when she giggles. She could make your world beautiful with her existence but she could shatter that same world when she cries. Never make her cry.’
I thought all that was a scam. The past me wrote as if Priscilla was the only p*leasure in his life. He wrote how he found his love, his miracle, and his light through
her.
Those were three things that I would never have believed in after all that I’d seen and experienced in this sometimes s*hitty life.
But it took me just one look at her at the strip club to turn me into a believer.
‘Remember her, Trevor. Remember your Queen.’
Those words echoed in my head as I closed the gap between us. I was sure it had not been easy for her to be here tonight. The council may love the gems I gave and the added protection I could provide to their kingdom but they hated my guts.
The Vampire King may have indulged his daughter for now but I could feel the countless guards all over us. I glanced at where they were and grinned before I snapped my f*inger to create a barrier around us.
Priscilla’s smiles were for my eyes only.
I turned to her.
When she didn’t hear me respond, she blushed as she cleared her throat. “I thought you wouldn’t come. I was-”
I didn’t let her finish. Whatever she wanted to say, it could wait. My m*outh couldn’t.
I held her face and k*issed her. I finally understood what the hole in my c*hest meant. I now knew what it was called.
Longing.
I was told that I was in love with this woman back then.
But I think I never stopped.
I found her and my heart was all in again.
