Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee Chapter 152

Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee (Book 3)

Chapter 152 The Unexpected Wedding (Genevieve Swan)

“Bellamy! Can you tell me what’s wrong with you?” After hours of waiting for Bellamy to return, I finally found him near the road leading back to the mansion. I don’t even know what my mates have been doing since I arrived here. It really bothers me that they’re not checking up on me anymore, except for the one who genuinely wants to spend time with me. I’ve been avoiding him because of Bellamy.

“Either stay with me or leave me alone,” Bellamy grumbled as he put his hands in his pockets and walked into the mansion. “If you tell me… I’ll help…” I paused because we had entered the foyer and encountered Mrs. Browning.

“I’m glad you two are home. Everybody’s waiting for you at the dinner table,” Mrs. Browning rolled her eyes at me but welcomed Bellamy with a smile. “I need to have a serious conversation with you,” I whispered to Bellamy before we proceeded into the dining room. My heart sank when I saw that Alpha Ron was joining us for dinner.

It really pained me. My father had welcomed everyone who had wronged me and had even forgiven them before I could.

“Come, have a seat. We have an announcement to make today,” Mr. Browning raised his h*and, signaling for us to take our seats. They had allowed Wolvin to sit with them because they didn’t want us to leave before their announcement. I exchanged a quick glance with Kit and found her beaming with joy. She looked incredibly happy.

“Hi,” Ron m*outhed a greeting to me, looking quite awkward when I didn’t respond in the same way. My other mates were quietly waiting for the announcement to begin.

“I know everyone dislikes my long speeches,” Mr. Browning got up from his seat and mumbled, while his wife and daughter laughed as if it were a great joke.

“Please, go ahead, brother. You have my blessings,” my dad gestured with his h*and to show his support. Monique was oddly calm, her gaze shifting between me and Ron. She knew we had once been in love, so it must have been amusing for her to see us not together. She had always disapproved of our relationship. Now that I think about it, she never really wanted me to be with anyone.

“So, we’re all gathered here tonight for some good news. A new relationship will be formed by the end of this evening as we announce the mating ceremony of Alpha Ron and my daughter, Kit.” When I heard the announcement, I let out a sigh and rolled my eyes. I had always known it would happen someday.

However, it didn’t really hurt me that much. What angered me more was that the two cheaters were now going to be together. But besides that, my attention kept shifting to my mate, Bellamy. He was sitting silently in his spot, his head down, and his h*and stretched out on the table, his f*ingers rolling the napkin. “Wow, congratulations,” my father exclaimed, raising a glass for a toast. Alpha Ron, in his haste to gulp down a glass of water after the announcement, started choking.

“Are you okay?” Kit dramatically got up and hurried to his side, gently rubbing his back. The way he pulled away from her and gestured for her not to t*ouch him drew the attention of everyone in the dining room.

“I–” Ron stuttered as he cleared his throat, “I don’t understand.” His simple statement left us all perplexed. “What do you mean by that?” Mrs. Browning took the lead, smiling awkwardly but clearly disturbed by the situation.

“What prompted you to make this announcement without discussing it with me first?” Ron’s straightforward call-out left us all stunned.

I had thought he would be thrilled to be with someone he had risked his entire mating ceremony for. But here he was, vehemently objecting.

“Um, what are you saying, babe?” Kit smiled awkwardly, her eyes darting to me to gauge my reaction. I was pretty sure she didn’t care about anyone else except how I would respond.

“Don’t ‘babe’ me. Didn’t you inform your parents that we broke up a long time ago?” Ron seemed to have reached his breaking point. He didn’t even use a gentle tone when revealing the truth about their relationship in front of her parents. It felt like a dramatic scene with a very unpleasant twist for Kit.

“What is he saying?” Mr. Browning got up hastily, looking quite intimidating.

“You slept with my daughter on your mating ceremony just to leave her?” Mrs. Browning was clearly upset now that she knew the truth.

“She knew why I did that. I am not sure how much your daughter hides from you, but I didn’t hide anything from her. She knew it was just a one-time thing but she kept insisting we continue and even when I didn’t— she would beg me to f*uck her—,” Ron had to stop talking when my dad hit his h*and on the table.

“But it’s the truth. I never promised her anything. She was the one who kept pursuing me relentlessly. I even told her that she should talk to you guys and inform you that we’re not dating anymore. But she continued to deceive everyone by concealing it,” he said with a tone of frustration.

The fact that he persisted even as Kit had started crying on her mother’s shoulders was shocking.

“So, there won’t be a mating ceremony, then?” Just as everyone was glaring at Ron, Wolvin lifted his head and asked innocently, “I mean, will I have to postpone my meeting with the wild animals of the woods?”

He shrugged, realizing it wasn’t the right time to make jokes about anything.

“Get out,” Mr. Browning raised his h*and toward the door and shouted at Ron, who was about to leave when Emre stood up and blocked his way. Everyone was so confused at what was happening. We all thought Ray wanted her but it seemed like, he was telling the truth when he told me that his s*ex with Kit meant nothing. “Why?” Emre stared at Mr. Browning, which even surprised me.
