Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 28 Fight For Me. (Genevieve Swan)
Right before my eyes, Wolvin seized Gale and forcefully dragged him away from me. The way he punched Gale and buried him in the ground made me tremble, wondering if I could save him from being killed that day.
“What the hell!” Gale screamed as he crawled backward, with Wolvin’s arms starting to transform like those of an animal. It wasn’t just a typical werewolf change; his physical appearance was bizarre. Veins prominently bulged on his face, and his nails grew sharper. It was a terrifying sight to behold.
No, he wasn’t a Lycan.
He was something else. Only his limbs displayed wolf-like characteristics, while the rest of his body remained human.

“Help!” Gale screamed at the top of his lungs, and that’s when Wolvin leaped onto him. Raising his h*and and slashing at Gale, blood splattered against the tree.
The others had emerged as well. “Oh s*hit, we need to stop him!” the others yelled. Emre attempted to wrap his arms around Wolvin’s waist, but his wolf form was so intimidating and strange that Emre hesitated and stepped back. Clearly, they didn’t want to trigger a transformation themselves, as they possessed their own formidable powers, which could intimidate Wolvin.
“Stop him!” Ron shouted, with Kit staying behind him, screaming throughout most of the fight.
“Wolvin! Just let go, dude,” Bellamy gritted his teeth, glaring at Wolvin for destroying his friendship with Ron and ruining their chances of making it onto the list of royals who could access the lockers.
“Wol-for God’s sake, stop!” Caspian also shouted, but Wolvin continued standing over Gale and delivering blows. It was at that moment that I decided to take a stand.
I ran up to Wolvin and t*ouched his hairy, werewolf-formed arms. “Wolvin, please stop!”
I didn’t even raise my voice, and he halted. His arm was still raised, his clawed h*and clenched into a fist, and he turned his h*ead slightly to look at me. His gaze then fell on my h*and resting on his arm. I calmly withdrew my h*and and stepped back.
He turned his h*ead completely to the side, observing everyone’s astonished expressions. Wolvin took a step back, and his body began transitioning back to human form. However, he didn’t remain long enough for us to witness the complete transformation. He swiftly ran down the hill and disappeared into the woods.
“Baby, I’m really scared,” Kit whispered, seeking comfort in Ron’s embrace. Caspian discreetly rolled his eyes, displaying his disapproval of a girl showing vulnerability. He often labeled us as dramatic and accused us of overreacting.
“Hug me, please,” Kit insisted, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone. Ron reluctantly nodded and embraced her, yet his gaze remained fixed on my face.
A few seconds of silence followed before I sprinted after Wolvin. “Where are you going?” It was only when I felt a firm grip on my arm that I realized Caspian had followed me to the edge of the slope.
“I’m going after him,” I hissed, attempting to free my arm.
“Are you crazy? He’s lost his mind, and you want to go after him? What if he hurts you?” Caspian wore an expression of aggressive concern as he noticed my determination to chase after Wolvin.
In those fleeting moments of locking eyes with him, I mumbled, “He will never hurt me.”
Caspian fell silent and motionless for a moment, allowing me to break free from his grasp and continue my pursuit of Wolvin. I didn’t care if Caspian thought I was prioritizing Wolvin at that moment. Wolvin had come to my rescue while the others had unwittingly allowed the devils into my home.
After walking for a while, I discovered Wolvin sitting beneath a large, dark tree. He had his h*ead down, slouched, and was staring at his h*ands.
I approached cautiously and only sat down a few steps away.
“Thank you for what you did for me,” I whispered, watching him shake his h*ead disapprovingly.
“Do you think we can hide his body here?” he asked, causing my eyes to widen in shock.
“Whose body?” I questioned in disbelief.
“Gale’s,” he replied.
“Wolvin! What you’ve done is enough. You mustn’t kill anyone,” I quickly knelt down, eager to express my gratitude for his actions. It was during this moment that our eyes briefly met.
The beautiful blue in his eyes shimmered as I hesitantly rose to my feet.
“But he k*issed you. He should pay for it with his life,” he muttered, standing up. It was then that I once again realized just how tall he was.
“I won’t allow them to set foot inside the house again,” he continued, making me feel a certain way with his considerate manner.
Being unloved for so long, the slightest display of compassion always made my heart race.
“Can you lean over?” I softly requested, causing him to furrow his brow and glance around to ensure he heard correctly.
“What?” he frowned.
“Hunch over,” I pointed at his body, gesturing for him to lower his face to my level. He awkwardly glanced around once more before gradually hunching over.
Once his face was at my level, I rose onto my tiptoes and tilted my h*ead, gently planting a k*iss on his cheek. His skin felt warm beneath my l*ips, and it felt as if I were melting as I t*ouched him. He even momentarily froze, only straightening his back when I pulled away.
“Fantastic! A budding romance between the impoverished rogue and the princess who has already felt the mate bond with me,” Caspian’s scoffing voice made me aware of his arrival. I looked at him in confusion because I had no idea what he was talking about.
One thing was clear: we had never discussed accepting each other out of the contract they had signed. So, his jealous behavior made no sense.
“Caspian, please leave us alone,” I muttered, angry that he was insinuating I was engaging in some secret affair behind his back. There was no justification for his reaction. Wolvin wasn’t just anyone; he was not only my husband but also my chosen mate.
“So, you can sleep with him? So, he beats someone up for you, and you’re all ready to spread your l*egs for him-” Caspian’s incessant rambling pushed me over the edge. I rushed to slap him, but he grabbed my h*and and pulled me closer in a threatening manner.
“Don’t you dare disrespect me,” he threatened, his gaze and tone surprising me.
