Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee

Chapter 40 I Do Feel Jealous, I Just Cannot Express It.

(Caspian Diego)

I watched as she entered the bathroom, finding amusement in teasing her. There was something about getting a reaction out of her that made me feel a bit better. Her reactions were both adorable and b*ratty, and I didn’t mind being a thorn in the side of unpleasant people.

As I waved the remote control in my h*and, Bellamy joined me in watching TV. Our attention, however, was diverted when Wolvin entered the room, his hunting bag in h*and. I couldn’t help but wonder if he ever brought back any food after his hunting trips. It seemed like he was always practicing or honing his skills, which was typical for a rogue trying to keep themselves and their families safe.

I kept my eyes on Wolvin as he looked around, clearly searching for Genevieve.

“She’s in the bathroom,” I answered before he could even ask. Not that he ever would, since he rarely spoke to us. Perhaps he was aware of the class difference between us and felt out of place among alphas.

“What?” Wolvin feigned ignorance. “I said, the person you’re looking for is in the bathroom,” I replied, wearing a wide smile as I taunted him for searching for her.

To me, it was cheap of anyone to seek her attention. She was nothing special, just a beautiful statue. Who would want to vie for the attention of a wolfless creature?

“Okay!” Wolvin finally acknowledged, no longer feeling the need to hide his intentions. He bobbed his h*ead and quickly pocketed something while my attention briefly wavered.

“He tries so h*ard to impress her,” I whispered to Bellamy, elbowing him gently to get his attention. But he seemed rather distracted, his gaze fixed on something else entirely. “Sorry, what did you say?” he asked absentmindedly, still lost in his thoughts.

“I said Wolvin is really making an effort to impress Genevieve,” I repeated, hoping to engage him in the conversation.

Bellamy finally snapped out of his reverie and turned to me, his brow furrowed. “Yeah, it seems like he’s going all out. Can’t say I blame him, though. She looked absolutely stunning last night.”

I couldn’t help but feel a pang of frustration and jealousy as he mentioned Genevieve’s appearance. The fact that she had shared an i*ntimate moment with Emre only added fuel to the fire of my emotions.

I couldn’t deny that Genevieve looked stunning last night. Perhaps Emre was captivated by her beauty and couldn’t resist seizing the opportunity. It was infuriating to think about, and I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy. “She must be crying because we have to attend lunch with her father,” I remarked, deliberately making my comment loud enough for Genevieve to hear.

Bellamy, on the other h*and, seemed fully engrossed in his cellphone and the TV playing before him. He had been texting a lot today, probably dealing with another upset girlfriend.

I hadn’t told him this, but his girlfriend was quite demanding. Not as bad as Genevieve, but still, she needed to let the alpha lead instead of the other way around.

I was busy observing everyone when, out of the blue, Wolvin rushed in front of the TV and sprinted toward the bathroom. The suddenness of his actions caught me off guard, and it took me a few seconds to process what had just happened. Then I heard the bathroom door slam shut and the lock click.

“Wait! What just happened?” I muttered aloud, unintentionally loud enough for Bellamy to hear.

“Hmm? Sorry, I was busy with my phone. Rewind it,” he excused himself, thinking I was referring to the movie.

“No! What did Wolvin do?” I straightened my back, tearing my gaze away from the TV and tossing the remote onto the bed.

“Huh?” Bellamy sounded clueless.

“Dude, Genevieve was in the bathroom. Why did Wolvin go in there and lock the door?” I couldn’t believe what had unfolded before my eyes.

“What? They’re in the bathroom together?” Bellamy asked in shock.

“I swear on my life. I saw him go into the bathroom with her,” I replied, getting up from my spot and walking over to the bathroom, pressing my ear against the door.

“I can hear them talking,” I complained angrily. What the hell was Wolvin thinking?

“That’s so bizarre. But then again, that hillbilly has no clue about anything. He’s just a disaster, a mannerless beast,” Bellamy sounded upset, but he was good at masking his true emotions.

“Yeah, but that’s what gives him an advantage over us. He shamelessly crosses boundaries with her while we’re left acting a certain way,” I huffed, occasionally thumping my fist against the door. I wouldn’t allow anything like this to happen here.

“I’m sure he won’t do anything. He doesn’t even know how to talk to girls, let alone do anything with them,” Bellamy tried to convince himself that Wolvin wasn’t capable of doing anything. But he was mistaken.

Just because Wolvin wouldn’t do anything didn’t mean Genevieve wouldn’t either. I was certain that once she saw his big d*ick, she’d be eager to ride him.

“Hey! Open the door. You guys can’t do this here,” I pounded on the door even h*arder, but they ignored me as if I didn’t exist.

“I have somewhere to be,” Bellamy decided to avoid the situation altogether. He didn’t understand the importance of getting Genevieve’s attention.

If only we could make her fall for us, she would grant us a pass to the pack. “Bellamy! So, you want her to accept Wolvin?” I raised my voice, still standing near the door and occasionally banging on it. Even if they were engaged in something inside, I would disturb them until his d*ick surrendered and gave up.

“Caspian! Lord Bernard despises Wolvin. Even if she tried to introduce him as her desired mate, he’d never accept him. If anything, after her contract ends and we keep her alive and safe for a while, Wolvin will be the first one Lord Bernard lets go,” Bellamy explained, putting my mind at ease with his words.

Once Bellamy left, I walked away from the door as well, but the unease in my heart wouldn’t subside. Something about her being with someone who wasn’t her mate bothered me.

That’s when my phone rang, and I had to answer the call.

“She’s not feeling well. When are you getting here?” The voice sent shivers down my spine. The playful mood I usually carried quickly dissipated upon hearing about her state.

“I’ll try to get there soon,” I promised, already making plans to sneak away.
