Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 50 My Mates Bully Me.
As I followed them in silence, I couldn’t help but notice the profound depth of the woods his cabin was at. All this time when they pretended to leave for hunting trips, they were actually coming here and constructing this cabin that Wolvin had secretly started.
It appeared to be their hidden sanctuary, their own man cave.
“You’re unusually quiet,” Wolvin whispered, walking beside me.
“I’m just realizing how vast these woods extend,” I replied, trying to conceal my true feelings and maintaining a composed tone, even though I was deeply upset with them.

“Hey, about your father-l didn’t want to come between you two by revealing his secrets to you,” he continued, but I increased my pace, giving a clear hint that if he hadn’t been willing to talk about it before, I didn’t want to hear it now.
We arrived at the cabin, and to my surprise, it looked really good. The brown wood was left unpainted, giving the cabin a natural and rustic feel. Inside, they had an array of weapons, and amidst them, I spotted Finch, tied up with his notebooks and pens placed far away from him. At least they had given him a new shirt.
“So,” Emre mumbled as he grabbed Finch’s notebook and quickly flipped through it.
“You seem like a lousy reporter. Nothing in these notebooks,” Emre checked them one by one and didn’t find anything.
“That’s because I wasn’t really trying to gather information on you guys,” Finch added, his eyes briefly glancing at me before quickly averting his gaze when he noticed Bellamy looking at him.
“I only started writing because I found it intriguing that you guys were bullying the princess,” he tried to explain himself but inadvertently brought up a crucial issue. My mates looked at each other, seemingly unsure about their actions all this time.
“Bullying? You weak-a*ss people call it bullying?” To my surprise, Wolvin was the one speaking the most.
“That’s just how we have fun,” he added, but then he suddenly noticed the attention focused on him, causing him to fall silent. Was he really that shy all the time? Whenever someone looked his way, he grew quiet.
“So, now you’re going to tell us who sent you here?” Caspian stood behind him and pulled his h*ead back, making me flinch and bite my b*ottom l*ip. I really can’t stand violence.
“Tell us,” Caspian demanded, and without warning, he punched Finch in the n*eck, causing him to start coughing up blood.
“Caspian!” I couldn’t help but exclaim, my protest escaping my l*ips against my will. I couldn’t stand the sight of someone being tortured without any concrete evidence that he was indeed trying to gather information on us.
“If you’re going to act like it bothers you, then get the f*uck out,” Bellamy snapped at me, his outburst catching me off guard. But now that he had yelled at me in front of someone else, I could only glare at him before storming out of the cabin.
“Bellamy! What an idiot!” Emre hissed, coming outside to check on me. I sat on a pile of wood with my arms folded over my chest, refusing to look their way as they all emerged one by one.
“She was raising her voice at us for him,” Bellamy attempted to explain, but after receiving harsh stares from the others, he fell silent.
“I don’t appreciate you disrespecting me all the time,” I hissed, and just as Caspian and the others started to chuckle, finding my demand for respect amusing, I turned to them and said firmly, “Show a little maturity.”
The way they fell silent and clenched their jaws, it was evident that my words had gotten under their skin with just one sentence.
“Besides, I don’t think he’s going to talk with all this pressure on him,” I continued, adjusting my hair and rolling my eyes at them. I knew they didn’t like listening to me because they seemed to believe nobody was better than them, but that wouldn’t stop me from speaking my mind.
“And what do you know—” Caspian was about to mock me again, but Wolvin’s words suddenly caught his attention.
“Actually, she’s not wrong. These creatures are incredibly meticulous and clever. They’re also very lonely, so torture and aggression will only make them stubborner,” Wolvin stated confidently. His knowledge was on point. Having spent his entire life in the woods, it was likely that he knew more about humanoid elves than any of the others.
“So, what should we do then? We can’t just let him go,” Bellamy complained.
“I will go talk to him,” I declared confidently, recalling all the details about elves that I had learned so far. I believed he would be more willing to open up to someone who showed kindness, and the way he had been looking at me made me feel like he wanted to speak with me.
“No!” Suddenly, all my mates replied in unison, shaking their h*eads.
“I’m not asking for your permission. I’m telling you, my decision. I will go in there and speak to him, whether you guys like it or not,” I asserted, not willing to back down. Before I could finish, I noticed Caspian cracking a smirk, likely preparing to throw a threat my way. But I cut him off, adding firmly, “And if you don’t let me, I will go tell my dad that we have an elf here.”
I noticed how they all just stared at me. I had been deliberately downplaying my status in front of them, as they had bullied me into taking a step back. It seemed like that was their plan from the very beginning-to make me so insecure about my own crown that I forgot to wield my powers.
But not anymore.
I decided it was time to show them what a true leader acts like.
“So, either you stay here and wait for my signal, or you can go home,” I declared, pointing my f*inger at each of them, one by one.
“Fine,” they said in unison, but their synchronized response made it evident that they had other plans in their minds. “It’s not like she has the kind of spark to make him go all crazy and spill his secrets to her,” Bellamy’s comment really got under my skin, and I couldn’t help but notice the others nodding secretly in agreement.
Well, now I knew what I had to do. I was determined to show them what I was truly capable of.
