Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 72 No Strings Attached (Genevieve Swan)
His l*ips t*asted so good, but that was all for now. I had to pull back because there were a few things we needed to focus on first. Plus, we had to find Wolvin.
“Right!” Bellamy scratched the back of his n*eck, but he seemed genuinely satisfied. He even sang while driving back home. Needless to say, I had never seen him so happy before. Was it because of me? I would like to think that, but there could be many reasons for his happiness. For instance, he just found out that I didn’t trust my father either, and I could tell none of them liked him as well.
Once we reached home, we discovered that Wolvin had returned after running in his crazy wolf form all night. They had woken up, showered, and now we were sitting in the backyard to finally talk about everything without any distractions.
“Hm! So, let’s just say it,” Caspian spoke up, pointing at Bellamy.

“I heard you talk to your mother, and I figured that you are not that close to your father either,” he stated, and I shrugged.
“We don’t like him either,” Emre declared and why is it that it didn’t surprise me?
“I could tell. What he did to your family was unjust,” I looked at Emre and commented before glancing at Caspian and Bellamy, wondering why they hated him so much.
“He unleashed a curse on our world and then refused to help,” Bellamy’s statement made me pout and lower my head in confusion.
“What kind of curse?” I asked, as obviously, I was enduring abuse in the mansion at the time, so I didn’t know what was going on in the outside world.
“It was really bad; it wiped clean many of the packs. But the issue is not the curse; it is how your father and that chick of his dealt with everything,” Caspian’s voice sounded heavy when talking about that curse. He must have lost someone to hate my father so much.
“So, it should be clear to you that when we applied to be your mates, our plan was to get into the mansion, gain access to the royal lockers, and take revenge,” Bellamy shrugged, making it obvious, and I cannot blame him. If they have lost their family because of my father, and if my father really messed up, then I can’t stand with my father.
“I want to know what happened to my mother,” I stated loudly and determinedly. Now that we were openly discussing our plans, I had to be honest with them as well.
“I wanted to gain access to the lockers to retrieve something that belongs to me,” Caspian whispered under his breath sadly. I could tell that even if I forced him, he would not reveal what exactly it was.
“Same. During that whole wipe out curse, he took something from us as well. It belonged to us,” Bellamy continued and nodded his head to himself.
“I want to find proof that Lord Bernard was wrong about my father. What he accused my father of was incorrect,” Emre pitched in.
Now, we all turned to Wolvin, who was staring at us in bewilderment.
“I thought we wanted access to get some money?” he whispered, and we all had our jaws hanging low.
“I am in it for the money only,” he shrugged, making us realize he was the only one who solely hated my father because the rogues didn’t have enough money, and my father never helped them.
“In that case, we are a team,” Bellamy announced, stretching his hand out for us, “how about we all help each other get what we want?” he continued to murmur, and the idea sounded great to me.
I knew I couldn’t do anything alone myself. But if I had them beside me, I could find out what happened to my mother without any difficulty.
“I am in,” Caspian rested his hand on Bellamy’s hand.
“Me too,” Emre joined, and now it was time for me to take a deep breath and nod my head. I placed my hand on theirs and gave them a smile of satisfaction. Wolvin didn’t hesitate and rested his hand on ours.
“Now, we need to set some rules of our own,” Bellamy suddenly pulled his hand back and pointed at me, making me frown at him.
“You are our fated mate, but you know under what circumstances we were brought together,” he continued. “I think it should be fine that we don’t judge each other if one of us spends time with her,” Bellamy mentioned, and Caspian rolled his eyes at him.
So they were arguing about who would spend more time with me?
“Yeah! Let’s do this. Since we are in it for the long term, and our wolves would go crazy over our mate’s scent, how about we make a rule?” Emre suggested, and I turned to look at him to see what he was going to propose. “How about no strings attached?” Emre murmured, and instantly my mood fell down a little.
The others looked happy with the idea. They all nodded and then looked my way. I didn’t want to be the only one who wanted us to live like real mates and a couple and not just do it for physical heat.
“It will be good for all of us. Once this contract is done and we have all achieved our mission, we can part ways without one of us accusing the other of betraying them or cheating on them,” Caspian was on board, obviously.
“So, it means, you can sleep and be with all four of your mates while we get to choose one other person only. If we are with them, it is not considered cheating,” Bellamy interrupted. “I don’t want to be a part of this deal. It sounds very uncomfortable to me,” despite thinking the deal was bad, I didn’t realize Wolvin didn’t even want to be on the receiving end of me and another girl of his choice.
