Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee

Chapter 73 I Can’t Have S*ex With Wolvin

“Oh! I mean, it is fair that you are not a part of this deal anyway. You are not her fated mate. So how about, she gets three mates, and we get two?” Caspian quickly waved his hand at Wolvin and excluded him from the deal while I remained silent.

“Fine by me,” Wolvin mumbled, making me feel bad for expecting him to have something for me in his heart. I guess he truly just didn’t care. He was all about earning money for his family, something he never even talked about.

“See, it is fair only. You get three mates, so at least we should have two,” Bellamy explained as he waited for my response. The problem here was that they themselves said that Wolvin shouldn’t be a part of it because he isn’t my fated mate. If they had a second-chance mate, I would not have objected so badly. But they are talking about a chosen mate and at the same time, they are preventing me from having a chosen mate.

“Come on, tell us what you are thinking. If you don’t like it, there will be no deal,” Caspian announced, and the others nodded with him. Wolvin was now just leaning against a tree, watching us silently, observing us.

“It is fine. I agree to the deal,” not wanting to appear as someone who wanted three mates for herself but didn’t want her mates to be shared, I stupidly agreed.

“Cool. And you will not sleep with this dude here. He is not part of the deal,”

Bellamy once again reminded me as he pointed his finger at Wolvin, who had his head down but was staring at me through his eyebrows.

“Here! How about we make a blood pact?” Bellamy then pricked his finger and pressed it against the huge tree, leaving a red mark. Caspian followed him, and right after him came Emre. They all made little circles with their blood to form a pact. I didn’t know how much it would do, but I was on board too.

However, I wasn’t truly happy with the idea. But if we thought about it, it was unfair to give them only one mate while I had so many. So I agreed and let Caspian prick my finger and place it on the tree trunk.

Now that it was done, we began to walk back inside. I meant to speak to Wolvin to get to know what was up with him.

Was he really only in it for money?

Did nothing else pique his interest or catch his eye?

I sat down on the couch and watched them get to work. They seemed very happy with the deal, but I was not as comfortable as I thought I would be. “Guys, come over here! I have something to share,” Bellamy exclaimed, waving his hands excitedly after wrapping up a phone call with someone.

“I’ll be ordering a lavish feast for all of us tonight to celebrate the new contract we signed with our beautiful mate,” he pointed at me with a smile. I returned the gesture with a grin, but deep down, I yearned to learn more.

Their treatment had improved, but I couldn’t overlook the occasional teasing and even bullying, as they were known for it.

“How about paying a visit to your pack?” I suggested, just as Bellamy raised his wine glass for a toast. His laughter turned into a sudden cough, and he hadn’t even taken a sip yet. “What do you mean?” he asked, quickly downing the wine to clear his t*hroat. “I mean, let’s visit your pack. Now that we’re working together, I believe it’s essential to get to know each other better,” I persisted, not with any malice. I genuinely wanted to know more about him. After all, he had played a significant role in reuniting me with my mother, and I felt this growing connection that made me crave more time with him.

Who knows, maybe with time, he will develop stronger feelings for me. I felt like I was being pushy, trying to win him over, but he was my fated mate, and Ariel should have considered that before having him sign the contract. “And then after that – we can visit everyone else’s home and pack,” I clapped my hands excitedly, realizing that I was the only one intrigued by the idea. It saddened me a bit, but I didn’t want to let it bother me.

“Why would you want to visit fallen packs?” Bellamy scoffed, shaking his head disapprovingly at me.

“Even for the sake of the contract, I am your wife and mate. Your pack and everybody else should know about it. I want them to understand that we don’t harbor any ill feelings towards them, and I will stand by your side to help improve their conditions,” I spoke softly and calmly, making sure to choose my words carefully.

I wanted him to see that I was more than just a princess. I wanted him to know that I was someone he could rely on and someone who would treat his people with love and kindness.

“Sure, if you insist,” Bellamy lowered his head and tapped his foot on the ground, casting awkward glances around.

“Yay!” I jumped up excitedly and moved forward to hug him. He hugged me back lightly before we pulled away. “I’ll go make some calls,” he said, stepping out of the house almost immediately. I was a bit concerned, but I tried not to let it bother me too much. I figured he had to speak to his royal beta, Ariel. However, what I thought would be a normal few minutes’ call turned out to be a whole hour-long meeting. As for the others, they remained utterly silent. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was too much of an inconvenience for them to take me to their packs or homes.

Finally, Bellamy returned and gestured at Caspian and Emre, secretly summoning them. Just like that, they left me awkwardly sitting in the living room all by myself and went outside the house to discuss something they didn’t want to include me in.
