Tossed Between Her Defiant Mates By Alexis Dee
Chapter 76 Fishing For Some Compliments (Genevieve Swan)
We woke up to the sound of wood being chopped outside. I couldn’t even recall how many rounds of orgasms we had last night before they went to shower and I eventually fell asleep. As I stirred, I felt Caspian hugging me from behind, and Bellamy was asleep with his head resting on my chest before he moved away. Emre had already left for his own bed in the morning.
I yawned and got out of bed, then remembered what was special about the day. A huge smile spread across my l*ips as I realized we would be visiting Bellamy’s pack.
I playfully rolled over and landed on Bellamy’s back, planting a k*iss on the back of his n*eck to wake him up. “Don’t–,” he grunted, and for a moment, I thought I might have upset him. But then he continued, “or I will start f*ucking you and not care about the full moon.” Hearing that, I couldn’t help but smile, and I k*issed him again playfully.
He swiftly turned around, almost knocking me down before he grabbed hold of me and pinned me beneath him. He rested his face on my chest and began dozing off again.

“Wake up, remember we’re visiting your pack today?” I hugged him, gently running my hands through his hair while he continued lying on top of me. “Why can’t we stay like this forever?” He finally raised his head and locked eyes with me, making my heart flutter at the thought. His exquisite grey eyes staring into my soul was exactly what I needed this morning.
“Because then what about me?” Caspian suddenly woke up and protested, eyeing someone standing at the foot of our bed. Emre grabbed Bellamy by his l*egs and pulled him off me, allowing Caspian to crawl on top of me. He immediately started k*issing my chin and n*eck, making it clear to Bellamy that I wasn’t his alone.
As we played around and giggled, we heard another loud thud from outside, and we fell silent. One by one, we got out of bed and gathered whatever articles were left to cover our bodies. “What happened to him?” Caspian asked, referring to Wolvin.
“I assume he didn’t sleep last night. He was up all night and then left the house early to chop some wood,” Emre explained, tidying the bedsheet, and I felt proud of him. In the beginning, they used to do nothing and would even constantly nag me for not doing their chores. But I could already see they were changing a little.
Not to mention, I needed to change as well. I can’t always watch others do all the chores while I sit and do nothing myself.
“Okay, guys, get ready. I’ll order some breakfast, and then we can head to my pack,” thankfully, Bellamy didn’t seem very concerned about visiting his pack with us anymore.
“Oh, by the way,” Bellamy interjected while addressing the others, “while we’re in my pack, she stays in my bedroom.” His finger pointed in my direction.
Protesting grunts followed his statement, but they proceeded to get ready nonetheless. After I had also taken a shower, I stepped out of the house to check on Wolvin. He appeared visibly distracted and uneasy. Although he wasn’t part of the deal, that didn’t mean I couldn’t talk to him or be concerned about him. He was still my husband, and we were supposed to stick together for many good years.
“Wolvin!” I called out, walking towards him, donning a red dress adorned with white floral patterns.
He abruptly paused but didn’t turn to face me. “Are you not coming with us?” I asked, standing close by, observing as he aggressively hacked away at the woods.
“Who said I’m not coming?” he finally stopped, dropping the axe and turning to meet my gaze.
“Then what’s bothering you?” I inquired, studying the wood he had chopped. “Winter is coming, and I didn’t want us to return with no plans,” he explained, clapping his hands to rid them of dust before his eyes settled on me. I noticed how he scrutinized me from head to toe, making me feel a bit bashful, and I bet he noticed it too.
“You look good,” his compliment held a special significance as he wasn’t known for praising anyone. That was just his carefree and careless nature.
I couldn’t help but blush in response to his unexpected words. “Well, get ready.
We’re waiting for breakfast, and then we’ll leave,” I said, taking a few steps backward, noticing he was now examining me with even greater attention.
“You curled your hair?” he squinted at my head, prompting me to t*ouch my hair and nod. I had styled it with delicate curls, allowing my long red locks to cascade around my shoulders and back.
“Hm!” he uttered.
“Do I not look good in these curls?” I asked, my smile fading slightly as I t*ouched my hair, seeking his opinion. I didn’t want to fish for compliments, but I couldn’t help but hope for a comment about my hair as well.
“You do,” he shrugged, eliciting an eye roll from me before I started walking away. I knew he would follow suit and join us once he got ready. Soon, breakfast arrived, and by then, Wolvin had showered and put on a black shirt paired with black jeans. Bellamy had opted for a white shirt and black dress p*ants, Emre rocked cargo p*ants with a grey shirt, and Caspian donned a black long overcoat over blue jeans and a white shirt.
Once we were in the car and on our way to Bellamy’s pack, I couldn’t help but wonder if his people would accept me. I knew some had disliked me, believing that whatever messed-up things my father did to them were for my benefit. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. While he was torturing them, I was suffering from abuse in the mansion myself. So, I could never say he did anything for me.
The journey took about four hours, and by the time we arrived, it was already evening due to the few stops we made for sightseeing and enjoying some cafe food.
When he parked the car in front of his condo, the first person to come into our sight was none other than Ariel.
